One listener made the point that Led Zeppelin is all about commitment; this statement could not be more true. From their epic songs Kashmir, Stairway, and monster albums such as IV, Houses of the Holy and II, I truly have a difficult time listening to anything else anymore because it simply does not compare. The band is a freak show of musical talents: from Jimmy Page's fluid guitar playing to Robert Plant's wicked vocals to John Bonham's monster drums, we almost forget John Paul Jones, a brilliant musician swept away by the others. When I bought the boxed set I did not know exactly what to expect, but now that I own it I have realized that it was the most worthwhile $120 that I have ever spent.Free Music Review: This is THE box set to own!

As a long time Zeppelin fan, I had to have this. If you want to learn about Led Zeppelin, then pick this up. It is remasterd with care by Mr. Page himself and is packaged so well that it is too nice to open. And having the original art work included with each disc is great. If you are a true Zeppelin fan, than you have to buy this. This is a must get! The music sounds so clean and fresh and is worth the hefty price tag. One can only wish that Page and Atlantic will release a box set of live material like Earl's Court '75 or Knebworth '79. But until then, listen to this box set and enjoy the greatest music ever written, recorded and played. I REPEAT, THIS IS A MUST GET!Free Music Review: Beautiful,just beautiful

Well i never thought that i'd buy another cd after napster and kazaa.etc appeared. But as soon as i saw this set i slapped down the plastic, was it worth it,yes and no. This is by far the most complete collection of Zeppelin songs to come in a single set, but there were so many extras that also came with it, which are nice, but not needed,the music itself is god-like and it doesnt need anything to ry to fancy up the deal. But enough ranting, if you are at all interested in Led-Zeppelin, or even music itself, then you must own this masterpeice,and the price aint too bad. My wife got this for me for my birthday. Yes I am in my late 30s and hard to shop for. She hit a home run with this one. I love this. Everything Zeppelin. No modifications, no goofy remixes. Just a remastering by the Master Jimmy himself. I love this box set. I have it on my iPod and it gets played anytime I am on the commuter rail headed to work. I also listen to it at work when i get swamped and have to work on a presentation or something. The noise drowns out those around me and I keep it too loud to hear the phone. A must buy if you like Zeppelin, a little expensive but you'll never need to buy another Zeppelin anything every again.

Never in the history of rock n roll has one mega group produced such inovative and creative music that is as fresh today as it was 35 years ago. Hit after hit after hit after hit is the line up of Led Zeppelin I and II. CD's I and II are worth the $100 in itself in my opinion. How can you put a price on John Bonom's drumming or Robert Plant's incredible vocal range. I really would have paid over $500 for this collection. Without a doubt. There are a few groups I need on a deserted island, the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. When you need timeless real rock, however, Zeppelin stands alone. For your mental health, for humanity, please...buy this and enjoy.
