Free Music Review: A musicians, or just anyone appreciating music must have!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I was first turned on to Led Zeppelin when I was a little boy and my father let me hear an old, old record of led zeppelin 2 which is, to this day, my favorite album of theirs. Every member of Zep was astonishing. Plants orgasmic vocals, Page's incindiary guitar styles(to which being a guitarist I hold unmatched), John Bonham...well if you know anything about drums you know you cannot describe exactly how amazing Bonzo was, and John Paul Jones multi-faceted skills with a large list of various instruments. If you are having second thoughts on getting this box set, well first of all shame on you haha, but secondly go out and buy the new self-titled DVD (the one with the desert on the cover) rather than wasting money on one of the cd's in this box set, since after you watch the DVD, you'll indefinitely go out and buy the set for this cheap, cheap, price. And plus you'll have the 2 disc 50 song DVD to go with the magnificent collection your getting here.
In conclusion, if you have any interest in rock music, blues music, or acoustic symphany then go out and buy this box set, and the DVD. I promise you won't be wasting your money.

Free Music Review: Complete; technically flawless

Okay: not being a Zepp-ophile, I may not have all the savvy necessary to judge this box set, but here's what I know, based on what I know.

From what I can tell, this box set has all the studio records on seperate CDs. Added to this, all the songs sound fresh and clean, as if they were just recorded. Combine this with the fact that Led Zeppelin is the greatest Rock & Roll band of all time. There's easily over a dozen instantly recognizable radio tunes in here -- and who made music like these guys? Like a friend of mine said, "Led Zeppelin sang about things that were important: war, love, death, sex, etc." That's true, and though this is debatable, I believe Zeppelin did more for rock music and the bands that succeeded them than any other band, including the Beatles. Personally, I just really, really dig their music. You basically cannot go wrong buying this box set -- the only way to top it is to find all the albums on vinyl, completely untouched, and never play them, for fear that you might damage the LP with the needle...but what fun would that be? This is the way to go, folks. Outstanding.

Free Music Review: I know it's expensive but...
Hit: 5 Stars

I purchased this set to replace the casettes that I had proudly displayed in a wooden Sound Warehouse crate from the 80s. This was a sweeping move in light of the price of the set. But how could you go wrong? It had all of the studio albums! Plus the excellent bonus tracks from the two box sets were tacked on to Coda (a move that, shamefully, hasn't been replicated on the single album release). I was enthralled right away. Led Zeppelin is an album-oriented band that not only works best on their individual albums but they also work best when taking all of their albums as an organic whole that grew with each release. From Led Zeppelin to In Through the Out Door, they sounded both briliant and eclectic. Most bands either stick with a formula and rehash it album after album or they change their style for the worse (see the sad demise of Little Feat). Led Zeppelin made large and bold moves towards the future with each album and they never sounded stale or uninspired. And when you look at them in that light, this beautifully realized set may be the only way to correctly look at them.

Free Music Review: Bliss

The music is excellent; a great remastering, and is supreme, perfect, God-like.

The artwork is superbly packaged in a book form and will not be damaged after multiple viewings like the individually issued cds.

Six books in all slide from a garage like contraption, While five contain cds, two for one is the fraction.

What is not so excellent, as much as I hate to say it, is that the cds themselves are rather stiffly stuffed in the ends of the books, making it quite difficult to slide them out without putting your fingers all over the cds. Over time, one could tear the books and hurt the actual cds themselves. I'd suggest you purchase extra jewel cases if you are buying this set, but then you will not know what songs are on the cds without referring to the books. (Unlike the individualy issued cds, these one do not have the songs listed on the fronts of each.)

Tough call Individual- No hassle, No more or Extra;

Complete- Great Art, Pictures book, & four songs to get ya.

I still am happy as hell to have this set, but felt others should be forwarned.
