Truly a masterpiece.. superb, crisp, clear music at its finest. I've seen the movie during the late 70's and I should have ordered the DVD as well--brought lots of great memories from the film...really the song remains the same--the grandest of the grand. A good example of the band in their hey day. After viewing the movie of the same title, I can visualize the band as they perform all of their hits. Some of the early as well as the later songs are on these CDs. A good example of the reason they were so popular. I had forgotten how great this album is, hadn't heard the whole thing in years.
The re-mastered version sounds great & it's definitely worth having.
Led Zeppelin's How The West Was Won (a set of re-mastered live recordings that were released
in 2003 or 2004) is also great and worth having if you're a zep fan.

Well, what can i say about this, it's classic Zeppelin. Many people say that it was a below par performance, but i have to disagree. The Song Remains the Same cd set contains my favorite recording of Black Dog, Since I've Been Loving You, No Quarter, and the Rain Song.Free Music Review: The greatest band ever!

What can I say? The best band ever at there best: live on stage. This remaster sound even better then the original album. And the extra tracks makes it complete. Every headbanger on this planet must have this CD in there collection. And make shure you play it loud!
