This CD has been in heavy rotation with its uplifting and soul-driven melodies. She reminds me of a modern Gladys Knight or Regina Belle with her lush, hearty vocals and straight-to-the-point lyrics. My favorites are Alright, Think of You, Joy and Today, but this is music you can listen to from beginning to the end with no breaks. Being an avid music collector, it is a true pleasure to have an artist that you never not want to hear. Ledisi has again brought forth a project that is timeless and makes me feel so privledged to have heard and seen in my lifetime. Please support Ledisi and treat yourself. This cd has remained on my Amazon recommendation list probably since its release date. My co-worker brought the cd to work and I had to have it. Ledisi is another amazing artist drowned out by the riff raff of today's industry. I wish more artist of her caliber got more airplay. Nevertheless her album is refreshing and uplifting. I have followed Ledisi's singing career for some time. I found this project to be very satisfying and one that she should be very proud. I enjoy the cd more with each listening. My favorite is No. 5 "Alright" and No. 2 "Joy" and the maudlin but beautiful title track, "Lost & Found". This cd shows off Ledisi's maturity as well as commercial potential. I first heard the single, "Alright" on the radio. I wasn't really feeling it at first. And, then my sis mentioned it again. So, I got the cd..and I was hooked. Her voice is...AH-mazing! I love it. It's a mosiac of jazz/soul/r&b/and her own twist. It's hott. She's another artist that has been slept on..but, it doesn't matter. As long as she keeps making good music.
