I was looking for something new to chew on today and decided to google past Grammy winners and nominees. That is when I stumbled upon this little nugget. I have never bought, or even listened to a Lee Ann Womack record. I knew after sampling only a couple songs I had to have it. Now as I sit here listening to it, I have to ask myself, how did this sweet voice slip by me until now? Each song is so meaningful and well written, not to mention has the old country feel that I love so much. Not too often I trip over someone new and get up wanting everything they have ever recorded. That's Lee Ann Womack for me now. I would highly recommend this record to anyone out who loves a great lyric along with a crisp clean voice. She makes it sound effortless. I will have to comend Lee Ann on this recent cd Call Me Crazy. Last Call (6), Either way (4), Solitary Thinkin (5), New Again (4), I Found It In You (10), Have You Seen That Girl (5), The Bees (3.5), I think I Know (4), If These Walls Could Talk ( 5), Everything But Quits duet George Strait (6), The King Of Broken Hearts (5) The Story Of My Life (10). I hope this cd does well and most treasured for me to listen to will be The Story Of My Life (20), tears from The King Of Broken Hearts and of course Last Call. The Bees was the only song I rated as a low grade because it was a slower type song. Still trying to figure out my life and what to do with it but Everything But Quits might be an option. Im glad I purchased and will certainly enjoy and listen to over and over. Truly reccomend.

I have Lee Ann Womack's previous album "There's more where that came from", and was wondering if she could live up to it. It's such a great cd. "Call Me Crazy" however is also great! The first single "Last Call" talks about getting a call from an old love, who's probably sitting in a bar somewhere listening to a country song. From there the album gets better and better. "New Again" talks about how everything's old and worn out, but someone's love can make us new again. "The Bees" is an intriging song, based on the novel "The Secret Life of Bees", and one worth listening to. "If these walls could talk" is a story about a family facing hard times, and a little child's prayers. This cd is classic Lee Ann with her beautiful voice and song choice. It was worth the wait. I can never get enough of hearing her incredible voice. She is the best woman singer in country music today. Another album of the year for sure! I highly recommend it.
