Free Music Notes for I Hope You DanceFree Music Review: Voice of an angel Hit: 5 Stars
Lee Ann is without a doubt the best country singer heard on the radio today. Her new cd is excellent, every song is beautifully crafted. Her voice is so clear and the arrangments and orchestrations take me away everytime I play it at work and at home. My favs are; Ashes by now, Stronger than I am, I hope you dance, The healing kind, Thinkin' with my heart again, Lonely too, Lord I hope this day is good. My vote is for her to win best country female vocalist. I've loved this woman since I first heard her on the radio when I was vacationing in Palm Springs, the song was "The Fool". Ever since I have all three of her CD'S. She just keeps getting better!
Free Music Review: Amazing Voice in Country Music! Hit: 5 Stars
Lee Ann Womack is a great country and adult contemporary vocalist. She did a good job on her "I Hope You Dance" CD. My favorite tracks are of course "I Hope You Dance," "Why they call it falling," "Does my Ring burn your finger," "Stronger than I Am," "I feel like I'm forgetting Something" and lastly, but not least "Lord I Hope this Day is Good." She has a very lilting voice and let's face it, she is the heir to country legend Dolly Parton. The baton is passed to her and she sure is making us country fans proud, keep it up Lee Ann! Best of luck in your career and future. Keep entertaining us!
Free Music Review: Unbelievable! And Still Country! Hit: 5 Stars
I too bought Lee Ann's first two albums because I was enthralled with her beautiful voice and her commitment to traditional country music. These first two albums were quite good, but didn't really put her in the level of stardom that she should attain. Well, she's done it this time. Although the title track is a bit poppish and positive, most of the CD covers songs of heartache and lost love - the core of country music. "I Know Why The River Runs," "Lonely Too", and "Does My Ring Burn Your Finger" are the standouts here, but virtually every track is a winner. Keep the twang, fiddles, and steel guitar comin', Lee Ann!
Free Music Review: Well presented and well thought of! Hit: 5 Stars
Okay, so I'm ghetto, but Leeann Wommack, let me tell you somethin', girl. You sure can sing, and I love your album. I can listen to it for hours and hours, and never get tired of it. Your voice is so mesmerizing and your band must be really good because it has such graceful harmonies and the real country style that I think every artist should have. My favorites from this album is of course, I Hope You Dance, Does my ring burn your finger? (hehe) and others which I can't think of right now, but all your songs rock. I play this album at work and I got a lot of people addicted to you, and I can't wait til' your next album! Definately 5 stars!! :)
Free Music Review: You'll thoroughly enjoy this CD!! Hit: 5 Stars
One of the best "new country" CD's from ANY artist in a long time. If you haven't seen the video "I Hope You Dance" you're missing a treat. This lady is as beautiful as the message in her music. Oh, and for you folks who think this album is a sell out from her previous two efforts, GET OVER IT.... you're the type that is probably still listening to 8tracks. Hey, if the Beatles didn't evolve, we would have never had Abbey Road. If this gets Leann much more commercial success, and I can't see how it wouldn't, all the more power to her. Not a weak tune on here. Great job Lee Ann. More please!
