Lee Ann is without a doubt the best country singer heard on the radio today. Her new cd is excellent, every song is beautifully crafted. Her voice is so clear and the arrangments and orchestrations take me away everytime I play it at work and at home. My favs are; Ashes by now, Stronger than I am, I hope you dance, The healing kind. I KNOW IT'S AN OLDER CD BUT I RECENTLY LOST A SON AT THE VERY YOUNG AGE OF 45YRS. & ONE DAY I WAS HAVING A REALLY BAD DAY & I HEARD THIS SONG(TITLE SONG). IT WAS QUITE COMFORTING TO ME. I KNOW I HAVE HEARD THE SONG A MILLION TIMES BEFORE BUT I REALLY "GOT IT" THIS TIME. I LOVE IT!! I BOUGHT IT SO I CAN LISTEN TO IT ANY TIME, ESPECIALLY, ON THOSE REALLY BAD DAYS. I am buying this album because of the song "I Hope You Dance". I listened to the samples of the other songs, and like them a lot. I first heard the song "I Hope You Dance" on TV during the Memorial for Dale Ernhardt, the race car driver that was killed in a crash on February 18th, 2001. The title song, "I Hope You Dance" has a fabulous message for everyone but I especially liked it for my grown and growing children. I sent each of them a single and told them it was my wish for them. I have put the messages to good use in my own life as well and have chosen "to dance" many times lately instead of just being an observer of life.
