I saw the show on Broadway in May, and by the end of "Serious," I knew I would have to have the cast recording as soon as it was released. I have had this CD on repeat in my car since the day it arrived. I have never known another show's lyrics to be as clever and catchy. The writing is brilliant.
I did not expect to love this musical as much as I do, but now, I am sharing it with everyone I know.

Wow! what a musical this turned out to be! O'Keefe did amazing being able to incorperate many genres of singing into a number of songs while still being able to advance the plot. I'm totally baffled how crazy good this musical is and Laura Bell Bundy has an amazing voice that is so unforgetable! I love this soundtrack! Legally Blonde is one of my favorite movies and after listening to the one free song they have on iTunes I bought the entire album.
There isn't one song I dislike which makes it difficult to choose which songs will go on my iPod.
The vocals are great, the lyrics are creative. Definitely one of my new favorite musicals.

I absolutely love this score! The songs are catchy and make you want to sing along. The only song that seems out of place is Ireland, but I've even learned to like that one! It has fun lyrics and really plays true to the movie's storyline. My favorite songs are:

I have tickets to see this show on Broadway in September, so I have been anxiously awaiting for the CD to be released as I like to be familiar with the tracks before seeing it on stage. Let's just say this album lives up to the hype! Laura Bell Bundy's voice is phenomenal, especially in "So Much Better". This is a must-have to add to your Broadway collection.
