This CD is great fun. Lemon Jelly combine incongruous fragments and loops, layering on their sometimes silly "found" vocals, spicing it up with elements of trip-hop and the lounge revival and ambient and plain ol' psychedelia...While in the end their sound-collages are pretty much unclassifiable, they all have an indelible stamp: acoustic instruments playing cool syncopations in a hypnotic way. And the packaging of their CDs is great, like a series of lost early 1960s LP artworks. The stunningly designed CD case of "Lost Horizons" is too big to fit on normal CD racks. And that's fitting, because there's something epic and outsized about the songs on "Lost Horizons".Free Music Review: Amazing

i first heard about in on TMF a dutch music channel some time ago with space walk the video was quite simple but that let the music pop out and it was very good i wrote it down and downloaded the song.. soon ive bought the whole album and ive also got the other one lemonjelly.ky.. why its simple, the music is of very good quality you will not be disapointed by that the only negative thing i can say about this album is... not enough!!! what i mean is i need more of this.. tracks of this music from lemonjelly! 'buy and fly' (conains good samples of guitars and drums, its easy listening and its a feel good record!) ive spoken.Free Music Review: My .02

Wow.Every now and then, just when you think that everything has already been done and there is nothing fresh about modern music, you get something like this. It's playful, ethereal, dream-like, and a bit sinister when it wants to be (what exactly WAS "Experiment Number Six"?).
A FAIR WARNING: "Nice Weather For Ducks" should not be played more than three times in a 12 hour period, because it WILL GET STUCK IN YOUR HEAD and EMBARRASS you at the wrong time. And for some reason, "Closer" just caught me in the right place at the right time. So beautiful.
Did I mention they designed the artwork and the gorgeous tri-fold CD case the disc comes in?

Let's face it... if Zero 7 and Orbital had a love child, its name would be Lemon Jelly. I've seen other reviewers draw comparisons to other bands, but from my musical tastes, this is my first cut at how I would describe them.This CD is extremely innovative yet still manages to be very accessible. It is upbeat and thoughtful, without being overbearing. It leaves a good taste in your mouth, and makes you want to come back for more. I have not yet heard their first album, ky, but I will certainly be picking it up very soon. If you like electronica, jazz or just music in general, you will seriously enjoy this album.
This is the type of CD that you can listen to over and over again, and you will.
