"5" is my 5th Lenny Kravitz CD. I remember when he was "Romeo Blue" and I have been following him ever since. Whatever is said about Lenny, let's say this: his life is his music and he doesn't have this angst-filled need to hide behind unnecessarily subterranean lyrics. "I Belong To You" is my favorite cut. I am with him as he admits to his Lord (or to the woman currently being the god in his life) "I've always loved you from the start but I could not figure out that I had to do it everyday. Now I've put away the fight, now I'm gonna live my life giving you the most in every way." There will always be comparisons with Lenny's influences, but fans who have supported him from the beginning are glad that he'll continue to make his music in and around the criticism.Free Music Review: Fantazmo! Have listened to all of the CD, several days over...have never gone this far out on a limb to purchase "Lenny", even though have secretly loved some that I hear on the conservative FM stations. Every selection was fabulous. Great for us girls to work out to, or have when things get dull at a pool side party. Lenny is so "deep", "funky", and the production of sound is spectacular! ...looking forward to hearing more from him...(my speakers rattled the windows)! Whoo hoo! Do buy this CD...it is a funky, sensual & well designed production,.. Girls/Guys...it will make you get in to the dance mood with your best partner! Fast or slow... "5"~Lenny Kravitz is an absolutely excellent CD and totally deserves 5 stars in my book! Lenny Kravitz has been around for quite some time and yet he still continues to come out with marvelous hits! They're spectacular! And after "Are You Gonna Go My Way", this CD is perfect to come out after. The re make of "American Women" (a bonus track on this CD) is absolutely phenomenal! And "Fly Away" is also a great hit off this album as well as "Without You" and "Little Girls Eyes." I reccomend this CD to anyone with the alternative/rock interest. Lenny Kravitz is and will continue to be absolutely outstanding.
