This cd rocks hard. Any one that doesnt like this cd needs their head checked. My faves are I Belong To You, If You Cant Say No, Fly away, Little Girls Eyes, and Your My Flavor. I love every song on the cd. He is the best solo rock and roll bad ass dude around! He is also beautiful and filled with so much style and creativity. I cant wait to see him in concert. Ive been a Lenny fan forever and his other albums along with this one are so rich with flavor. His musical range and talent are DELICOUS AND DELIGHTFUL. His voice is very sexy. I love the way he belts out his lyrics. I love his guitar skills. I can go on forever but I think you get the idea! idea!Free Music Review: Sign me up

After watching VH1's short history on the life and work of Lenny Kravitz, a tremendous appreciation for this artist came over me. I purchased this cd and two others at that time. By far, "5" is my favorite. This guy is so multi-dimensional and talented. There is not another artist alive that both bears his own soul and touches the listener like Lenny. Buy "5", and anything else this man puts out. You may not love every song, every lyric, but there is something on there for everyone who has a soul. From "I Belong to You" to "Fly Away" to "My Little Girls Eyes," Lenny Kravitz touches my heart.Free Music Review: This CD is phenomenal!

"5"~Lenny Kravitz is an absolutely excellent CD and totally deserves 5 stars in my book! Lenny Kravitz has been around for quite some time and yet he still continues to come out with marvelous hits! They're spectacular! And after "Are You Gonna Go My Way", this CD is perfect to come out after. The re make of "American Women" (a bonus track on this CD) is absolutely phenomenal! And "Fly Away" is also a great hit off this album as well as "Without You" and "Little Girls Eyes." I reccomend this CD to anyone with the alternative/rock interest. I first saw Lenny when he was touring with Tom Petty in 1990. I was blown away by his passion and intensity. His music, 5 included, is a pure expression of where he is at...what his life is about. His music isn't about what is popular, but a true expression of himself poured out with soulful passion. I am sad to hear people upset about the reissue of 5 fretful of missing 2 songs from their collection, I think they are missing the bigger picture. If we could all be so brave to express who we are with such faith and passion, not worrying about what the "neighbors" would say, to truely BE who we are, we would all be happier people.Free Music Review: Too Funky

This album sneaks up on you and by time you realize what's going on, you're hooked. The more that you listen, the more you discover. His songs are all written with a underlining message that you can only understand after listening to them a few times. I've know some of his earlier work, but this album completely overshadows them. I didn't think that it was possible to combine rock, funk, and R&B in one album and sound this smooth. Every track flows together from beginning to end and by the end, you're 'screaming' for more. Lenny Kravitz's music is real and will speak to anyone who values the truth in life and in their music.
