Free Music Notes for 5 (REISSUED WITH 2 BONUS TRACKS)Free Music Review: Lots of Groove Hit: 5 Stars
5 is perhaps Lenny's best album to date. Instead of continuing in the tradition of the rock albums that he has done, he gets a little funkier this time. There is a lot of fanfare on here. The music is catchy, soulful, groovin. Highlights include Live, I Belong To You, If You Cant Say No, Thinking Of You, Fly Away, Its Your Life, Little Girls Eyes (tribute to daughter Zoe), and more. Go out and get it!
Free Music Review: Great music from an under-rated artist. Hit: 5 Stars
This is the first Lenny CD I've bought and I have to say I was blown away. Despite all the criticism I've seen, I think he has soul coming out of every pore in his body. As far as the two bonus tracks, they are great. I don't know about his label but I don't think Lenny is trying to screw his fans. The two bonus tracks weren't even recorded yet when the first version of this CD came out.
Free Music Review: LENNY KRAVITZ IS AWESOME Hit: 5 Stars
This whole CD is GREAT!!! I listened to it so much that all my friends borrowed it cuz they liked it too.My last friend ruined it so I NEED to get another copy soon.I loved every song and I don't understand where anyone is saying some of them didn't make sense. So much feeling of all types are expressed in this one.Open your ears and really listen and you will agree.Lenny Kravitz is AWESOME.
Free Music Review: Soul Touching Hit: 5 Stars
I personally hold Kravitz higher than any other arist at this point. He is courageous to take the risks he does. Most would be scared to play the type of music that is a big part of their soul instead of what the biggest trend is. All of his songs on five are wonderful additions to his career. I find them all almost orgasmic! (even though I must admit "Fly Away" is my Fave.)
Free Music Review: Psychedelic Superstar, or Funk-Rock revoloutionary? Hit: 5 Stars
An explosive and haphazard approach to this album is pursued by the Hendrix-inspired Funk-Rocker. Bringing in a different style in composition; diversifying from his previous albums. A poweful collaboration of synthesized drum machines, jazz instruments, distorted guitars, psychedelic solos and mooges tags this album as morbid, technologicalized up-beat, but yet one to crank-up.
