No one can compare his uniqueness to any other artist. He has taken many flavors and styles of music and made it into a work of art. The tools he uses are creatively put to work. Lenny Kravitz' third album is what most would regard as his best album. Now at first, when I got this cd, I liked the title track and a few others. Little by little I began to appreciate the other songs such as "Sugar" which sounds straight out of 1965. This is a good album. Kravitz does a good job of taking 90's music and fusing it with the late 60's and early 70's music. the songs are reminiscent of your old foghat, boston, cream and dare I say Iron butterfly albums. I have had this album for a few years now and somehow always grab it for the casual listening. Every song on here sounds fresh with funk, R&B (both old and new), 60's psych-acid rock, Beatlesque-Hendrix with a touch of Smokey. Lenny does it all and I recommmend AYGGMW to any music fan. Outstanding!
