Free Music Notes for Baptism

Free Music Review: Brilliant and back with avengence !!
Hit: 5 Stars

Don`t listen to the knockers - this is Mr K`s best effort in years.
Truthfully, I can`t really find one dud on it. Overall, a much more complete offering than the disappointing ' 5 ' and ' Lenny'. The songs are strong and his voice as seductive as ever.Faves here, well where do I start ? The first single Where Are We Running, I don`t want to be a star , the rocky California, the groovy Sistamamalover, Calling all angels, and the bonus gem Uncharted Terrain found only on the Japanese release of the L.P. This has hardly budged from my stereo and when I`m in the car I yank it out and play it on the road too. A marvellous return to form from a very gifted musician.

Free Music Review: Suprisingly great rock album from Lenny!
Hit: 5 Stars

Not that he does not usually make fantastic albums, but he does try out different styles, and ideas often and it can be hit and miss sometimes. This one though, is a big huge, fun rockin funked out album, having fun, rockin out, funked out, and great to listen to. There are serious big rock tunes, a number of seriously heavy funky tunes, a few sweet ballards, and a couple of amazingly honest deep heartfelt tunes. It is really one of his best albums that he has ever made, and is undeservedly underrated I believe. Check this out for a suprise great modern rock/pop album with style, funk, groove and honesty.

Free Music Review: If you dont buy this album there is something wrong with you.
Hit: 5 Stars

This cd can be had for less than a dollar used...what are you waiting for. If you can not afford a $1 for this album than you dont appreciate great music.

Put this cd on while you drive to work and I gurantee that you will start moving to the music and just when you are ready to wail a primal scream Lenny will bring you back down to earth with something nice and slow.

Needless to say this album is not his most known work, but I feel that it is just as good as anything else he has done. Like I said in my first line, pay the $1 or you just dont appreciate good rock n roll.

Free Music Review: "You just don't know how to groove, white boy."
Hit: 5 Stars

"Sistamamalover" is one of the finest soul tunes since the theme to Good Times! "California" sounds like the boy is fondly reminiscing to his pre-teen days, and it makes you want to move there now. "Minister of Rock & Roll" is full more music than anyone can catch on their first 5 listenings. Overall, even the weakest tunes on this disc are 4 star -- buy it, and worship with Lenny!

Free Music Review: baptism is awesome!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Baptism is not seargent peppers people. But it is an excellent album. one of lenny's best since let love rule. why are you people hating on the man? the fact that he is singing in other voices on the songs on the end is awesome!!! sure there is some typical lenny crap on there -- those first two songs, but after that, it jsut keeps getting better. love the brother.
