Here is another typical Lenny release. It's amazing how he manages to keep doing the same stuff over and over again throughout the years and yet keeps his music interesting and refreshing to ears. At least to my ears.
"It Is Time For a Love Revolution" is a great successor to all of his previous albums. "Love Revolution" and "Bring It On" are powerful openers. "I'll Be Waiting", "This Moment Is All There Is" and "A New Door" are truly the ballads that a Lenny's record couldn't miss. "Dancin' Till Dawn" has a beautiful saxophone solo in the very end. Lyrically speaking, it seems that "A Long and Sad Goodbye", "I Want To Go Home" and "Uncharted Terrain" (this last one available on iTunes only, apparently) are about personal issues.
All other songs not highlighted here are also worth listening. They're also great.
Once again, and somehow as expected, Lenny delivers us high quality rock music.

That is a prime quality album. Basic, simple, and effective stuff!
It's quite clear that Lenny did not want to risk himself this time, no problem, the final product is simply great music.

This is the album I've been waiting for him to write for years! After 5, his music went downhill with all the glam and bubblegum pop stuff. Some of the songs were really good but as ALBUMS they fell short. Sonically, this album goes back to the roots of "Let Love Rule" and "Circus" (my personal favorite). This album ROCKS from beginning to end! The riffs are killer and the drumming is superb! I'll go out on a limb and say this is his best album yet! If you like classic Stones, Zeppelin, and Aerosmith, you'll LOVE this album!Free Music Review: Best of LENNY!!

Lenny Kravitz always manages to keep his signature sound while still giving you new material, and it holds true with this album. He really gives you little rock and roll, a little R&B, and a little soul all mixed together. It keeps you singing along and dancing the whole time. Some of my favorite tracks are Good Morning, Love-Love-Love, If you want it, and This moment is all there is. I think any "REAL" music lover will enjoy this album. Now let me just start by saying this cd is almost religious! It's so insanely great that I lose my mind when I listen to it and play along to it! It's so full of emotion that is missing from today's pop & rock music. Thank goodness that Lenny still has the blessing of the Gods of great music! If you don't understand the greatness of this album, that embraces all the great music of the past, you are lost.
