Free Music Notes for It Is Time For A Love RevolutionFree Music Review: A strong effort from Lenny. Hit: 4 StarsI have never been a real fan of Lenny Kravitz, but I really enjoyed this latest album of his. The album really is a love revolution. The first half of the album is Lenny in love and happy. He sounds like a man in love and a couple times like a born again Christian with references to God and Jesus. The second half of the album is a man in love but dealing with the pain of that love. In a couple songs, the pain of being distant from family that he loves. The lyrics are deep and thoughtful, and I found myself connecting with Lenny's music as he took me on a journey through his love revolution.
The sound reminds me of late sixties early seventies rock.
Free Music Review: GREAT! Hit: 5 StarsI have definitely been a Lenny fan since "Are You Gonna Go My Way" but this album is amazing! The guitar is awesome in these songs and his voice makes this album worthwhile. Great addition to my collection and i could not WAIT till this album came out. This album reminds me more of his album 5 than any of the others though. Good job Lenny!
Free Music Review: Awesome! (in my opinion) Hit: 5 StarsWhen I read on-line reviews I usually skip the 5 star reviews because I feel those people may be biased in some way. But I can't help giving Lenny a 5 star review for this funked up glorious album. Let's face it, Music is very subjective and one man's passion is another man's poison so I am just going to say that I loved it. Lenny is doing what he does best and it just feels right.
Free Music Review: Best one in a long time Hit: 5 StarsI love Lenny and his music and positive message. And I just love how this album has more of an old school vintage Lenny feel. It is just great. You can tell he put alot into this album and that he is really feeling what each song is about.
Free Music Review: It's about time! Hit: 5 StarsThis is the album I've been waiting for him to write for years! After 5, his music went downhill with all the glam and bubblegum pop stuff. Some of the songs were really good but as ALBUMS they fell short. Sonically, this album goes back to the roots of "Let Love Rule" and "Circus" (my personal favorite). This album ROCKS from beginning to end! The riffs are killer and the drumming is superb! I'll go out on a limb and say this is his best album yet! If you like classic Stones, Zeppelin, and Aerosmith, you'll LOVE this album!
