Leona Lewis' debut CD is probably one of the best CD's of 2008 so far. The CD is one beautiful track, after another, after another. This CD can not be listened to just one, but continually. The songs on Spirit showcase her outstanding vocal abilities. The songs are beautiful and she sings with such raw emotion. I just bought and listened to this album and I think its amazing. She has a voice like Mariah Carey or Whitney Huston, a voice to be reckoned with. I hope Leona is here to stay and doesn't venture down the path Mariah has taken with letting the music of the song overpower her wonderful voice and with out taking her clothes off. This is the BEST CD I've bought in a long time. Every song is good which is unusual. I can listen to it from start to finish over and over again. Her remake of The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face is very, very, very good. I would definitely recommend this cd. I first heard Leona Lewis perform on the David Letterman show. Wow, what a beautiful girl, and what a wonderful voice she has. I bought her CD "Spirit" immediately from Amazon.com I haved listened to the CD almost every day since I received it. She is a powerhouse singer, and I can't wait until she puts out more music on CD's.
