BUT I WAS NEVER IMPRESSED WITH HIM BECAUSE OF BAD PRODUCTION, QUALITY OF HIS VOICE AND LACK OF A GOOD PACKAGE. THIS WILL KNOCK YOU OUT ITS SO GOOD. COHEN HAS THE HELP OF GREAT PRODUCERS, MUSICIANS, BACKUP SINGERS AND IT IS LIVE. CRYSTAL CLEAR SOUND. ONE OF THE BEST RECORDINGS IN THE THE PAST TEN YEARS. IF YOU ARE BUYING MUSIC CD, THESE PEOPLE GET YOU THE BEST AND IT ARRIVES SO FAST YOU WILL BE SUPRISED. SOON AS THEY HAVE THE ENTIRE BEATLES COLLECTION I AM BUYING BOTH LIBRARIES, THE REMASTERED STEREO AND REMASTERED MONO. There is no one else in the universe like Leonard Cohen and no CD of his comes so much from the soul as this one. My husband and I, sipping tequila in hand, listened not once but twice as winter settled on our back yard. Cohen delihgted us, he moved us to tears, to the heights of joy and the depths of familiarity with life's realizations. This amazing performance undoubtedly crossed generations, but with no ill will intended to those under 50, the lives brought forth by Cohen in his poetry and song resonate most vividly in those of us who have been there. Treasure this CD and if you are in the younger age group hold on to it, listen as often as you want to but make a date to contemplate it as art once every ten years.Free Music Review: the MAN! Over 100 people have come here before I now do to tell you about this Stupendous Concert Recording by this truly Time-Honored "Saint" of the music world...one of the greatest poets, songwriters, and singer/performers to grace the stage in our lifetime....Leonard Cohen!
Trust all of our kudos and salutes to this wonderful album....it is nothing but pure pleasure, both for the ears, and also the heart.
The DVD presentation of this concert goes even one step further by allowing you to actually watch this Great Man in performance....what an artist!

I can't stop listening to this fabulous CD set. It is fabulous in every way--Mr. Cohen's amazing poetry, his rich voice, his incomparable fellow musicians, his arrangements, his comments. I just love everything about the CD set and have asked for the DVD for Mother's Day. I think this is the very best album I have ever owned. I've been a Leonard Cohen fan since college in the late 1960s, and although I am sorry his financial troubles caused this CD to be produced, I am very thankful to have this CD to listen to again and again.
If it weren't for a work obligation, I would be in Philadelphia in May for Leonard Cohen's concert. I hope the tour will expand, and I'll get to see him in person at some point.

This is one of the best recordings I've heard in years. I was amazed to read all the other good reviews and had to listen to the cds myself to see if they were true and they were. I didn't know Leonard Cohen was still touring or recording or was still alive. I had first listened to his music in the early 70s and many of the songs I heard then are on these cds. They have stood the test of time. The lyrics and music evoke feelings of emptiness and fullness, often both at the same time. He is a magical poet and musician. His band and singers do a wonderful job of accompanying Cohen in each story he tells. When I am playing these cds, I have found it difficult to do anything else except listen.
