Leonard Cohen has been a favorite of mine for at least 40 years - and to my surprise, he's getting even better!
I heard a brief review of this two-disc album on WFUV's Sound Opinions, and bought it the next day, and have been listening ever since to this iconic folk singer/songwriter. One disc is in my outside radio, and the other in my kitchen - so I can sit and listen to Leonard all day, and I never tire of it.
Believe it or not, his voice is strong and still mezmerizing, and all the old songs sound incredibly wonderful.
If you are a Leonard Cohen fan, you must have this CD: if not, this will make you one.

If this was a vinyl recording rather than a cd I would have to buy another copy because this one would be worn smooth. I was absolutey and pleasantly stunned when I first played this live 2 cd set. I personally don't believe Leonard Cohen as ever sounded better and the live recording it's self is, in my opinion, stunning. The nine backup performers are the icing on a cake to be savored forever. This recording has been well reviewed by others so I will add a recommendation for the dvd of this concert. The dvd is as visually and audibly stunning as the cd is audibly. Buy this cd and/or dvd and enjoy the concert.Free Music Review: A great listening experience through and through

I was only a little familiar with the music of Lenoard Cohen when I bought the album after hearing some recommendations from trusted sources, which was sort of whimsical for me since I tend not to but whole albums without previewing anymore. I'm sure glad I did though, since it made the first experience listening to the album amazing, just like anytime I hear these songs. This is a great concert album (which I usually do not like compared to studio albums) and a great album in general. The extra accompaniment and the credit Lenoard gives is great, and the sincere emotion and quality of music is fantastic.Free Music Review: Leonard Cohen's Live in London is fantastic

Even if you have most or all of Leonard Cohen's recordings you must add this one to your collection. It surpassed my expectations, which were high. Part of it is that I just love this man and his music, but even putting my sentimental heart aside, the beauty of these arrangements will take your breath away. You will hear his songs as if you are hearing some of them for the first time! Lush, emotional, heartfelt, wry, witty; it is all here, like opening so many gifts as you listen.
This CD,along with the Eagles, Long Road Out of Eden, are the two I want to take with me on any road trip.

Once in a blue moon, I come across a CD I just have to share. This live recording of Leonard Cohen's recent performance in London (at the age of 74) is one of those rare finds. After purchasing it for myself, I went back to Amazon and ordered copies for all my music-loving family and friends.
I would highly recommend that you purchase this Grammy-worthy double album and save it for a solo drive or quiet evening at home when you can really listen to and appreciate its humor, humility, poetry, and musicianship. They will blow you away!
