After seeing the recently broadcast PBS concert special of Leonsrd Cohen, I just had to get this album. It is a two CD pack and it sounds great. You will not be disappointed. My order was with e-store tangotienda and I believe it came from Argentina. Order arrived in two weeks with standard shipping and the total cost was less than $15 which includes all shipping and handling. No jewel case is provided but the package does have some liner notes and photos. It is a live album but the voices of the singers and instruments are very distinct. I agree this is wonderful but Leonard shows uncharacteristic misjudgement by introducing the band members too often after solos. It breaks the mood and trance of the songs. Otherwise this is wonderful stuff and his other live albums (from 1993 and 1979) are tremendous too (without the ad nauseum intros). When I saw him in San Jose he had cut back on the interupting intros and let the music speak for itself. (and he added Famous Blue RainCoat/ The Partisan/ Waiting For a Miracle)--so it was pure perfection. I wish that had been the recorded concert.Free Music Review: Would give it 10 stars if I could!

Simply one of the best albums I have watched/listened - each time I play it I like it better. Totally entertaining. Tender and rich in words and tone - tears spring forth - what a catharsis!
I have only now discovered Leonard in this magnificent recording - my wife has known him from his shows and early days in Montreal -
The music, words, and audience ambiance brings a magical luster and brilliance to this heartfelt performance.
Highly recommended and Greatly appreciated!

The year 2008 goes into my personal history, as the year I saw Leonard Cohen live in Vienna. What a performance! This "new" old Cohen is full of spirit, vivacious and with a twinkle in the eye. The music has been completely re-arranged and sounds better than ever. The way he interacted with the audience can only be described as lovely. Everybody was in awe of the great master. I highly recommend this CD which is a wonderful example of everything done right. All that's left to say is - I hope this was not the last recording of this wonderful man.Free Music Review: Great album on all levels

The quality of the amazing musicians, like Javier Mas, Sharon Robinson and the backup singers, and the marvelous arrangements make this a truly great album. Leonard Cohen is graceful and deep voiced and totally present, not exceeding the limits of his voice but using it as a lyrical tool, perfectly integrated with his terrific ensemble. As others have written, this music is not just a sentimental experience or rehearing of tunes you liked in the past, but a truly satisfying musical experience in the now. Thanks, Leonard Cohen.
