Saw the performer on Public Broadcasting and in concert live!!! Fantastic, wonderful, very entertaining. I play my disc in the car, in the house, at night to relax. Some songs I just put on repeat - I do not get tired of playing them, and singing along. That voice, the words, the recitations, the music, the band, the back-up singers who are not really back-up but an integral part of the action!!! Exciting! Hot!! Erotic!!! I have been a fan for more years than I wish to count. The Live is London album brings the listener not only to the Cohen they enjoyed for years but for the new listener there is something grand that happens. I was very surprise that a young relative (21) after asking who that was, sat and listened. Than played the two albums all over again. The mature delivery from the entire group is spectacular. The poetry of the lyrics continues to transport to another bank.

Love it, love it, love it! This is a masterful piece of work. I saw Leonard Cohen's concert here in San Diego, which is pretty much the same as the one performed in London. Had been looking forward to getting it on CD. The concert is spectacular. The choice of songs is superb. His joshing with the audience is fun. Incredibly, Cohen's voice is in great shape and, with the female singers who back him up, every song is a gem. You won't be disappointed in buying this CD.Free Music Review: Thrilling

For some reason, I missed out on the Janis Joplin group of my era. Recently (at the ripe young age of 68), I "discovered Mr. Cohen's music, and fell in love with it instantly. This album is beautifully done, and Mr. Cohen's recitations of his incredible poetry along with the Webb "sisters" back up singing add such a depth to the songs. His voice is mellowed by age and true to his music. It's my favorite album to come along in many years, and I am grateful for his talent.Free Music Review: Amazing performance

I first saw Leonard Cohen on a PBS Special and was mesmerized - by his voice, the lyrics of his songs and the outstanding musicians on stage with him. I couldn't believe that I had never heard of him before. I quickly realized I had to have the CD so I could listen to the songs again and again to really hear the powerful and spiritual lyrics. I shared the CD with a dear friend and she decided she had to keep it. So, this is my second CD of the London performance.
