I listened to Leonard Cohen in the old years and liked the poetry of his songs. Then i didn't listen to him for awhile. Recently, he came out with a reprise concert Live in London, which i loved. Call me sentimental, but Leonard singing Leonard at age 73 really touched me, as did the warm response of the audience. I decided to fill out my library of Leonard Cohen music. I just wasn't as thrilled with this album. Maybe it was the lack of a live audience or the specific lyrics here, but the LOVE just didn't come through for me. I'll try other Leonard Cohen CDs, though.
