Free Music Notes for Let Yourself GoFree Music Review: An Amazing Talent Hit: 5 Stars
I, like so many others, was absolutely enchanted by Kristin Chenoweth as Sally in 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown'. This enchantment grows when listening to "Let Yourself Go". Every track on this CD is absolutely amazing; to choose a favorite would be impossible. There's something for every person. Like comedy? There's "If You Hadn't, But You Did" or "The Girl in 14G". Dying for a ballad? Try the beautiful original "He's Just An Ordinary Guy". Want a classic? How about "My Funny Valentine" or "How Long Has This Been Going On?" Literally not a bad track- each and everyone is more and more lovely.
Free Music Review: Chenoweth The Next Great Broadway Star Hit: 5 Stars
Just at a time when lovers of fetchingly-rendered "good" music by such giants as Kern, Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart and the like were about to conclude their works would never be recorded again, along comes Broken Arrow's Kristin Chenoweth to create an album you won't be able to quit playing! What this unbelievably talented young lady brings to these songs, with the startlingly-good Rob Fisher Orchestra, restores one's faith that not only will songs from our greatest era continue to be recorded, but that every half century or so a breathtakingly talented artist like Kristin Chenoweth will come along to perform them! --Dick of Berkeley
Free Music Review: Magnifico! Hit: 5 Stars
After hearing Kristin Chenoweth in Wicked, I couldn't resist trying this out. I wasn't disappointed. Kristen has a light soprano voice and shamelessly shows off her operatic training. Her style suits Broadway perfectly and this album is a gem. I love it. A collection of well and lesser known (to me at least) hits, with enough variety to use her versatility. Before I heard this I thought no one would be able to do "How long has this been going on" like Ella, but hey, I was wrong! Great dialogue and perfect timing.
Maybe Kristin could come to the land of Oz one day? Sydney v New York? No contest!

Free Music Review: Quirky and fun. Hit: 5 Stars
Kristin Chenoweth's unique singing style shines through on this fantastic album featuring a duet with Jason Alexander. Kristin's quirky, cute and oh-so-much fun personality is displayed on every track along with her wide range of vocal talents. "The Girl in 14-G" is an excellent example, for she sings in her own unique style, then switches to opera, then scats. Most of the songs on this album are from musicals, but are wonderfully chosen because they are still fun and entertaining out of context. This has quickly become on of my favorite cd's and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys musicals or Kristin's work.
Free Music Review: Kristin Chenoweth is perfect once again!! Hit: 5 Stars
What can I say? The amazing Kristin Chenoweth has done it again. This CD showcases her voice beautifully; she has quite a range. A really good thing about this CD is that all of the songs are not exactly the same, so Kristin has a chance to show off her comedic singing ("If", among others), as well as her more serious material ("Why Can't I?", etc.), both of which she does extremely well. This should be a must-buy for any Chenoweth, music, or musical theatre fan anywhere! Kristin Chenoweth never ceases to amaze me, and I'm sure you will feel the same way after you listen to this fabulous CD.
