Kristin Chenoweth has an incredible talent, and this cd really shows it off. I love all of the songs. I absolutely adore Kristin Chenoweth and I can't say enough about how wonderful this album is. Her range is incredible; her skills unmatched. I've spent many hours trying to sing "The Girl in 14G" the way Kristin does, and let me tell you it is no easy task, even for someone like myself who was blessed with a pretty decent range. Even if you don't like the music on this cd, you have to have respect for Kristin's talent after hearing this- I think it would be impossible not to.Free Music Review: One of the best ever!

Do I mean the best album or the best singer? You are correct if you said both! I saw Kristin Chenoweth on a PBS show "Broadway's Best at the Pops," (though it was not the first time I had heard her) and decided to check out the offerings here. This is a collection of the kind of music and performances I love. She has a great range, a precise pitch, and a great style that is at the same time true to the music and to herself. In an era when singers try to outdo each other re-interpreting the composer's original work, not usually with great success, she is a blessing!Free Music Review: Negative reviewers; enough is enough!

If you flip through the reviews on this page, you'll notice that someone has been going through and repeatedly marking every single positive review of this recording as "not helpful". Ok, we get it already! You don't like the dang CD! Your opinion has been duly noted, now move on to something else! Regardless of what this person thinks, this is a wonderful CD, and my previous remarks stand. The first time I saw Kristin Chenoweth in a movie was the TV "Music Man". Just lately I listened to the "Wicked" soundtrack, and after that, I've been listening to Kristin's CDs whenever I can. This one is a jazzy, Broadway-type CD with fun, engaging songs. She's a different type of singer, and while not everyone might enjoy her voice, I really do. If you like Broadway, jazz, drama, romance, or just fun, catchy songs, this is a CD for you.Free Music Review: I'll "Tell the man in the street" too!

I haven't enjoyed a CD this much in a long, long time! Every song is a good pick, and Chenoweth simply owns the song from the first note. The comic numbers like "If you hadn't but you did" are such pure, unashamed joi de vivre that you completely forget who you're dealing with, until a ballad like "How long has this been going on?" blows you away. I hope this is just the first of many albums--how about another, Kristin?
