Free Music Notes for LifehouseFree Music Review: Another AWESOME Album from my FAVORITE BAND! Hit: 5 StarsWhat can I say about Lifehouse that other Lifehouse fan's don't already know? Not much! These guys are the very best band out there today & all of their music rocks! I love everything about this band, I love everything about this album!
This band is universally appealing to everyone, the music is wonderfully written & played & the lead singer Jason Wade has the most radio friendly voice out there today. Their songs are creative & fantastically executed & there isn't anything I don't love about them or their music.
I give this a 5 star rating all the way & HIGHLY reccomend you listen to their other albums Stanley Climbfall & No Name Face. They are both as good as this one & you will love them all. Standout songs on Stanley Climbfall are - " Just Another Name" w/ it's rocking riffs, "Stanley Climbfall" & "Take Me Away".
Standouts on No Name Face are - "Sick Cycle Carousel", (the very best track on that album in my opinion),"Only One", "Breathing" & the much radio played "Hanging By A Moment" featuring Jason Wade's vocal talents at their best. His voice is very unique & distinct & set's many hearts a flutter when he opens his mouth as well as setting him apart from all other lead singers out there today.
Lifehouse is definately the best band out right now w/ consistantly great songs being made & released & I look forward to hearing many more albums from them in the future, I can't wait for more!
Free Music Review: Brilliant, Once Again Hit: 5 StarsI first heard of Lifehouse a few years ago after hearing Hanging by a Moment whilst flicking through music television.I decided to do some more research on Lifehouse and upon hearing Breathing I decided to buy No Name Face. And I've never looked back.
Lifehouse are my favorite band and as soon as I heard that they were releasing a 3rd album I immediately purchased it. Even though their 2nd album, Stanley Climbfall, wasn't as good as their debut album I still loved it,with Take Me Away becoming my favorite ever song. This third album did not disapoint me and I have been listening to it everyday for the past month or so but I'm still loving it. Here are my opinions on the songs on this album.
1.Come Back Down-Brilliant song which I can't stop listening to
2.You and Me-Not quite as good as the first song but still great
3.Blind-Weakest of the first 4 songs but awesome anyway
4.All in All-Joint favorite song with Come Back Down
5.Better Luck Next Time-Appaling, worst song on the album
6.Days Go By-Another good song
7.Into the Sun-Quite a nice,slow song
8.Undone-Good song
9.We'll Never Know- Very very good song
10.Walking Away-Good verses but poor chorus ruins the song
11.Chapter One-Alright
12.The End has only Just Begun-Alright
This is a very good album which I love.
Free Music Review: Good overall! Hit: 5 StarsThe first time I heard about Lifehouse was during the SMALLVILLE prom episode where "You and Me" was played. I really liked the song, so I started to do my research about Lifehouse. After I heard other songs from their other albums, I fell in love with Lifehouse. The thing that I like the most about them is that they actually do good music with meaningful lyrics, not just shallow words put together with tunes. And the fact that Jason Wade's voice is sooo deep and enchanting makes me like it even more. It just gives me chills everytime I hear it. I must admit, as much as I love Lifehouse, that their last album wasn't as much as I expected. This album is packed with very good songs, but if you listen to the CD track after track without interruptions, the songs might not shine as much as they should because they have basicly the same melody. But I must say that this doesn't bother me. Lifehouse is a great band, and though there are some tracks that I don't like much and that I've only heard about 3 times, the CD is DEFINITELY GREAT, worth listening and buying. My personal favorites (in order)are:
1. "Blind"- I just love the depth of his voice when he sings: /That I loved you more than you will ever know/
/And part of me died when I let you go/
He just makes it feel so real. And the lyrics are amazing!!!
2. "You and Me"- It's been a little overplayed, but that's good, I guess. I love the meaning of the song, the lyrics and the tenderness in the music and vocals.
3. "Come Back Down"- I love this song and the rythm and lyrics. GREAT SONG!
4. "Better Luck Next Time"- Love the chorus and it's a very catchy song.
5. "Days Go By"- Very catchy chorus.
6. "Undone"- I like this song very much, but I don't play it much. But it's really good. Catchy rythm.
7. "Into the Sun"- Not my favorite, but good. Moody, perfect to hear when you're down.
The rest of the songs are passable, but not their best.
Overall, love this album.
Free Music Review: So much more than a hit single Hit: 5 StarsLifehouse has become one of my favorite bands, ever since their 1st CD. I'll admit the 2nd one did not impress me as much, but their 3rd effort, this CD, has renewed my faith in their talent!
Favorites are Come Back Down, You & Me, Blind, Days go by, The end has only begun, All in All, & Undone.
All of the songs have super vocals, amazing lyrics, great beats/style over-all...I think Lifehouse is so far one of the most under-estimated bands, undervalued. I can't wait for them to explode. They are so much more than their hit singles, the whole CD is worthwhile.
Free Music Review: Best Effort!!?? Hit: 4 StarsLifehouses' nesw cd entitled, Lifehouse, has been their best cd yet. They have a kind of shy almost scared sound to them that makes people listen, but then once you get past the soft vocals, you understand exactly what they are saying.
Lifehouse has always had success, but none can compaire to the success that came with this album. Their first single, You and Me, was automaticly accepted by fans as well as non fans as a great hit song. The mix of finding yourself as well as those things you've lost is very apparent in the video as well as the song lyrics themselves.
The success has not stopped Lifehouse from making the music that they have always wanted to create, and they will continue to have major audiences with the style they have created for themselves and their music.
