Free Music Notes for No Name FaceFree Music Review: No Name Face Hit: 5 StarsA friend turned me on to Lifehouse a few months ago, when all i really knew from them was the song "Hanging by a Moment." She really seemed to love them, so i decided to pick up this cd. And dang she was right.
Not only is this cd home to catchy songs like the beloved Hanging by a Moment, but it also has more reflective songs on it such as Breathing and Everything. It really is not a very happy album, and it has a sort of melancholy feel, but its still a very good musical offering.
Any of the people who say this is too mellow or too basic of music are obviously either close minded or just musical idiots. Sure the songwriting is simple, but there is layers upon layers of texture that create a wall of sound. and if its too mellow for you, you just need to open your mind and diversify.
This is a great album, so go and buy it.
Free Music Review: A-mazing Hit: 5 StarsI'm a pretty big music buff, and I have to say that No Name Face is my favorite album in the world. Every track is worth listening to a million times -- if you like anything of Lifehouse's (or the Goo Goo Dolls and the like), you'll fall in love with Jason Wade and the boys if you just give this a try.
Free Music Review: super! Hit: 5 Starsthis is very awesome! i loved it!

Free Music Review: LIFEHOUSE CD Hit: 5 StarsThis CD is everything I hoped it would be. It came in great condition!!
Free Music Review: How can anyone call this "rock"???? Hit: 1 StarsWarning to consumers grazing along looking for "Rock". I see review after review labeling this release as rock. I'm not saying this is a bad effort by Lifehouse because clearly I would be wrong since there are over 600 reviews with a 5 star rating. The production is really good. But personally, using my definition of rock ... you can't go to sleep listening to rock ... rock wakes you up ... this effort in its entirety is not rock ... not even close.
Really I think the amazon review nailed it best with "melodies that mark Lifehouse's radio-friendly sound are not unlike those of matchbox twenty or Live in their softer moments" and "think Crowded House at their lilting best".
