Free Music Review: awesome
Hit: 5 Stars

I am a big fan of Lifehouse - and I love this CD! They are excellent musicians and writers, and they know how to put a song together. I love how each one is so different from the other. They don't all follow the same pattern, there is some diversity. I also like how this CD caters to a larger audience than just rock fans. The mellow songs still carry an engery - a contained emotion. Usually debut albums are not all that great, it takes a while for the band to get their feet under them and their style decided. Not Lifehouse! They are solid, and I look forward to more of their music in the future.

Free Music Review: lifehouse for the fit and healthy
Hit: 4 Stars

lifehouse no name face a superb album that features that single that every remembers as "hanging by a moment" don't be fooled into thinking that the calling were doing something new this is the band whom had the deep voice the superb gritty guitars and belting drums and bass too make you deaf
i heard "hsnging by a moment" on vigin radio and my first impressions were sounds a bit like the grunge bands but i loved the song and virgin didn't tell me who it was..so i had to wait about another 6 months until they played it again and i heard them say there name and i thought was "lifehouse" the rock opera pete townsend tried to make but didn't suceeded then i realise this..album is a classic gritty belting heart beating album that struck a chord with me..all the way through and that a strange thing for that to happen...
this album features a classic "sick cycle carousel"
"somwhere in between" "simon" with amazing lyrics and a sense of purpose of making music from the heart not just formulated for success
a classic album and i think it was their only album really?

Free Music Review: Can i give it 10 stars?
Hit: 5 Stars

Let me start by stating that i HATE Christian music. I AM also a Christian (you should know). But im tired of hearing songs so blunt about God that i feel like im in church (not that thats a bad thing ;) but its tiring to hear such repetitive music. Lifehouse on the other hand gives a punch to the face to what Christian music is. Not too well known, Jason is a Christian artist. This CD is pretty much 100% on his love for God. Yes, the love songs sound as if hes swooning a woman he's dying to get his hands on... but think again. Jason knows how to write a song without being 100% direct about it, which is what i love. Who knew hanging by a moment ....a song about God would catch the ears of the whole world & shoot them into the mainstream. Id hope that they'd continue to make albums like they've made & focus on what they do best: express their love for the creator.

Free Music Review: Great album
Hit: 4 Stars

For any rock lovers, this album's definitely for you. The songs have plenty of great tunes -- lots & lots of "hook lines" for sure.

The reason I gave it four stars is that I got sick of the album after playing it quite a few times. I have my CD player to play the album every morning to wake me up so that could be why...

Free Music Review: Beautiful!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a wonderful album by a talented group of guys. Some of my favorite love songs are on this album. Many of the songs are simply beautiful, and these guys really know how to write. These guys will just keep getting better. There are really no weak spots on this album.. just great songs and some that arent quite as great.

Breathing -- A great song. Beautiful lyrics, great accompaniment. No wonder this was such a big hit. 5/5

Cling and Clatter -- An excellent song. These guys write some great lyrics, always a strong point. 5/5

Everything -- One of the ballads on this album. Very slow, but very nice. Beautiful. 4/5

Hanging By a Moment -- Their biggest song. Sounds great.. truely a great love song. My only complaint is that the vocals sound a bit processed here. But it works well with the song. 5/5

Only One -- A very good song too. One of the few songs on here that isnt a pure love song. "I guess you're the only who/ who still changes faces." 4.5/5

Quasimodo -- One of the harder songs on the album. A song about the insecurities in a relationship and the differences between people. 5/5

Sick Sad Cycle -- This tune has the catchiest tune on the album. Also a bit harder than most. (By the way, there's no "hard" track on this album, but some are a bit harder). 5/5

Simon -- Another ballad, though not as good as Everything. Probably the weakest song on the album.. just a bit too dull.. bit too long. 3.5/5

Someone Else's Song -- A very good song. Really shows off the lead vocalists' range. Very poignant lyrics too. 5/5

Somewhere in Between -- A good song. Not really a stand out though. 4.5/5

Trying -- Another good song that doesnt really stand out. Kind've belnds in with Somewhere in Between. 4/5

Unknown -- The fastest song on the album. A good way to end the album. Very catchy song. It also features the best guitar on the album. 4.5/5

This is really a great album. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good rock/soft rock album or some beautiful love songs!
