I will admit that I am biased. I have purchased both the promo CD of Bliss Dyffs Lucky Day as well as No Name Face and became an addicted outright fan of Lifehouse. A day does not go by that I do not listen to the songs of Lifehouse. I was glad when Lifehouse brought out their third CD "Stanley Climbfall", and looked forward to it with great expectation.
And I was not disappointed one little bit. Lifehouse has gone from strength to strength and built on the success from the other two albums. It is their coming of age in the music scene. All the songs on this album just like No Name Face are enjoyable to listen to and have a intrinsic meaning to them and are sung by Jason Wade with a gusto that belies his years.
The songs that stand out are 3. Sky Is Falling, 9. Take Me Away and the two bonus tracks of How Long? and the Beginning took my breath away. The music of Lifehouse to me is important and will remain so for a long time to come. It gives me strength in times of weakness and pain and brings me smiles in times when things look down.

Ok, Lifehouse just gets better and better all time! This cd blows me away! It's so full of emotion. One of my absolute favorite songs is "Take me away". That song chokes me up everytime, a lot of times I cry. It's so wonderfully crafted, and sung. The whole cd is pure ear candy to me. I just don't know what else to say, it leaves me speechless! I just got this last Jan. 14th, and pretty much listened to it for one week straight. And I said, "Why didn't I discover this album sooner?"
I was initially under the impression that "Stanley Climbfall" didn't measure up to its predecessor "No Name Face" because it wasn't as popular. But when I heard the CD, I learned that Lifehouse did retain its edge after all.
The first track is "Spin", which I think was the only "Stanley Climbfall" song that was as widely recognizable as the big NNF hits like "Hanging by a Moment", "Sick Cycle Carousel" & "Breathing". This song is so pulsatingly good, it pulls you in so you can hear the whole album. Nice.
I really loved the songs "Wash", "Am I ever gonna find out", "Stanley Climbfall", "The Beginning" and of course "Sky is Falling". If there was an american music award for most artfully written lyrics, of course these guys'd take the cake. The add-on tracks, "How Long" and the acoustic "Sky is Falling", make for lovely bonuses too. Some of the other songs don't have as much lasting power as the NNF songs, and other widely-known alternative hits for the matter, but the Lifehouse signature style is still there.
Flipping through the CD inlay may be a bit baffling, but then these guys are making an artistic statement.
"Stanley Climbfall": not the greatest alternative album in the world, but still worth a listen. Just say no to musical crud.
