Free Music Notes for Who We AreFree Music Review: INCREDIBLE!! Hit: 5 StarsI saw Lifehouse perform with the Goo Goo Dolls, and I am thoroughly impressed! I'm shocked I haven't gotten into them sooner; this album has awesome written all over it.
Disarray--great opening for the album--has great edge.
First Time--Adorable single and undoubtedly romantic
Whatever It Takes--Didn't like it at first, but really grew on me. Cute.
Who We Are--awesome beat.
Broken--beautiful and conveys great emotion.
The Joke--Not my favorite, but still a good song. It's a song I won't go directly to, but will happily listen to when I'm playing the CD in its entirety.
Easier to Be--Sweet, laid back.
Make Me Over--Possibly my favorite song on the CD. I'm not sure what I like about it, so I guess you have to check it out for yourself.
Mesmerized--My feelings for this song are the same as "The Joke," but this song has a much slower pace.
Bridges--Different style, good beat.
Learn You Inside Out--Love this song. Very emotional.
Storm--Emotional times a million. Beautiful ballad.
I hope Lifehouse tours again, because they are amazing. I can't wait for the next album.
Free Music Review: They are always good Hit: 5 StarsThere first album will always be my favorite, but this one rocks too!!! I own every lifehouse CD, this one ranks in the middle. Don't get me wrong here folks, all of their CD's are amazing. This one follows the usual format, and is just as good!
Free Music Review: The best yet Hit: 5 StarsI'm a long time Lifehouse fan and have never written a review before, but felt compelled to do so with this cd because I am so proud of this band. I love all of their music and they just seem to keep getting better and better. "Who we are" is one of those cd's that you can just listen to from beginning to end, over and over. The writing is perfection, it seems to touch my soul. If you're already a fan you are gonna love this cd.
Free Music Review: Another Strong CD by this group Hit: 4 StarsThis is a very strong album and much more fast-paced than the ballad lined self-titled CD that precedes this release. The last one was also very good and contained the hit "You and Me" and this CD finds more catchy grooves by the trio as they work with Jude Cole. The song "First Time", which is the first single, is an excellent cut. I happen to feel the strongest on the CD though is "Disarray" a much more upbeat tune that's driven by a great drum hook by Rick Wustonholmme (hopefully I spelled that correctly) that works to sum up the lyrics of the song while Bryce Soderburg's bass keeps the drive of the song from derailing. Jason Wade's lyrics are certainly those of an individual becoming more skilled at honing a craft and this song's melodies are irresistable. This CD is one that I think anyone who likes rock music, and I don't mean like heavy metal, or pop will discover is worth the money. Before purchasing take a listen to the tracks, especially; "Disarray, First Time, Easier To Be, the title track and Storms - which is the ballad of the record and a damn fine one at that. I believe this group shows it's talent musically by working together as a unit and not trying to overdo each other. The only thing is the track "Learn you Inside Out" may let you down a bit as you get through a full listen but it's still worth the time. That track is probably the only reason I don't give 5 stars and if I could give 4.75 I would.
Free Music Review: Another great release Hit: 5 StarsIf you're a Lifehouse fan then you will likely agree, it just keeps getting better. :)
