Free Music Notes for Wrong WayFree Music Review: Great Example of Underground Hip Hop Hit: 5 StarsThe Lightheaded crew set up a great underground hip hop album and it seems like more people are catching on to the possibilities that there is more music to be heard than what is on the radio. The vocals on this record are recorded superbly, and the beats are mixed as if they were done live by a dj, rather than pro-tools. The tracks are easy flowing, not too long, and the rhymes are really positive and more focused on life in general. This is safer than the current crop of hip hop, and bursting from the seams with talent. I highly recommend this for fans of truly conscience hip hop.
Free Music Review: Lightheaded, Rock Rock On! Hit: 5 StarsWOW!!! What an album!! I've been listening to lightheaded for some time now and have never once been dissappointed. This time around is no different. When I heared of the new album coming, I knew I'd buy it but didnt think it would be able to compete with their debut "Pure Thoughts". To my surprise (well not really) they blew this album up!!! From top to bottom "wrong way" is a hip hop gourmet full of freshness. Ohmega, Braille, & Othello as usual deliver flawless verses . What stands out so much about these guys are that they have very contrasting styles, yet they flow so well together. Its feels like a well tuned hip hop machine moving all in one effortless motion. On each song these three emcees inject potent lyricism into beautifully crafted music. And yes, the production shines just as bright as the rhymes do. Ohmega handles the production for just about the whole album. To be honest, I think the production on "Wrong Way" even sounds more mature than Pure Thoughts. I dont usually write reviews but this album compelled me to. Pick up this disc, I guarentee you'll love it. Lightheaded is the definition of a true hip hop crew. Keep doing your thing!
