Sam Lightnin' Hopkins may very well be the best bluesman of all time with his strong vocals and definitive "Texas" guitar licks and with no doubt an entertainer, here Lightnin' entertains the people lucky enough to purchase a ticket in Swarthmore,PA.,1964,as the bluesman narrates the stories to each song - "BLACK CADILLAC","GREEN ONION","TROUBLE IN MIND","SHORT HAIRED WOMAN","MOJO HAND" "BABY,PLEASE DON'T GO",nine of the thirteen songs are Hopkins' originals and ol' Lightnin' never sounded better as the enthusiastic audience show their appreciation,possibly one of the best live blues shows ever recorded,thanks to sir Lightnin' Hopkins,OBC recording,audio needs remastering,mainly for loudness. Nobody adlibed like Lightnin' Hopkins.
