Free Music Review: Hip Hop In It's Purest Form!!!!

I've been waiting for an album like this for a long time now. I'm surprised there aren't any reviews in for it but I'm happy to be the first. I can't be the only one who's enjoying this record. Everyone seems to be on the Genius's new album Pro Tools. Haven't got that one yet but I'll have it in a few days. Anyway I.A. Dap is simply excellent from start to finish. If you were a fan of Group Home then you should enjoy this album. The overall feel of this album is dark and grimey with a couple of upbeat tracks thrown in. This album should be listened to alone at night to really enjoy and absorb it best. At least turn off all the lights when you bump it. Dap really shines on this album and you can tell he really put his heart into it. It's very personal and he talks about a lot of difficult things he's been through in the last few years. He says in the album intro: They tried to take my son from me. They tried to take everything from me. This is real hip hop. Not the commercialized garbage you hear on the radio and on MTV. So real hip hop fans can rest assured that you're getting a quality product off tops. If I'm giving it five stars it's good because I don't waste my time on garbage. No song on here is radio friendly and that's part of the reason I like it. The other reason is that it's well produced and it's just good hip hop. The beats are sick. The first song I heard off here was the Alchemist produced "Get It". That song was actually released a couple years back. It was only released on promo vinyl and it only had the clean version. I still have the vinyl. Both Guru and Malachi the Nutcracker make guest appearances as well as some lesser known cats. This is hip hop. It's hard to find and the record store I got it from only had one copy that they got for me. Ya'll need to get this cause I don't think it will be available for long. But for now of course anybody can get it, get it, get it!!!
