Free Music Review: Same ole, same ole

I haven't been able to get through one of his albums yet. I'm so burnt out on Dr. Seuss rhyming (using the very first word that rhymes and makes sense with the word before it and even worse repeating the same word when he can't find one to rhyme), but Lil' Flip was on "Beef" and he sounded so intelligent. He'd said in magazines that it was easy to use multisyllabics and rhyme deeper. So, I listened to this album on a music site to see if he'd done so. There were a couple of songs like "Single Mother" and "Find My Way." But overall, still the same weak rhymes, talking about weed, challenging gossipers (why do you care? Just ignore them), cars, and a billion references to how much money he makes. Pretty much all of this album sounds like an audio commercial for who is a good prospect to rob, especially that terribly offbeat song "Can't U Tell." I'm so confused though because he said we need more lyricists like Common and Kanye, so why not be one of those lyricists? He completely blew me when he said he was like Jay-Z, remembering rhymes or not, he's not even close. I'm glad dude is rhyming about putting money back into the community though.
