This album is hot. If you take the guest appearances alone you've got: Pastor Troy, Jadakiss, Styles P., Pimpin Ken, Chyna Whyte, Too $hort (way underrated), Mystikal, Krazie Bone, E-40, Petey Pablo, Bun B, 8-Ball, MJG, Big Gipp, Oobie, Bo Hagon, Devin "the Dude", Fat Joe, Trick Daddy, Pitbull, Ying Yang Twins, T.I., Trillville, Dirty Mouth, & I think thats it. If you're a true hip hop fan, then you already know this album will be stacked with great rhymes on top of Lil Jon beats.
Thats the reason I got the album and I was not dissappointed.
Here's a run-by track by track
1)Kings of Crunk (Intro) - (n/a) - Nothin too special. I listened to it once like I do with all intros but I never listen to it now.
2)Throw It Up (featuring Pastor Troy) - (12/10) - I'll tell you what...this track is special! I listened to it three or four times before even going on to the others. I love the beat and hook. Pastor Troy has two great verses on one of Lil Jon's best beats of the album. Throw It Up made me turn up the volume was a real head banger. By the way... this track is 6:13 long and I still listen to it over and over and over...
3)Knockin Heads Off (featuring Jadakiss & Styles P.) - (9/10) - The second good track in a row. The beat is good but gets worse when the chorus comes on(by the way all of the tracks are produced by Lil Jon except #12-The Weedman)Good raps by Jadakiss & Styles P.
4)Pimpin Ken Speaks (skit) - (n/a) - Boring
5)B***h (featuring Chyna Whyte & Too $hort) - (9/10) - Good Beat by Lil Jon but the constant repetition on the chorus can drag on you. Chyna Whyte and underrated short dogg (Too $hort) spit good rhymes.
6)I Don't Give A F**k (featuring Mystikal & Krazie Bone) - (10/10) - Most everybody's heard it. I still love the beat. Mystikal's verse is good but Krazie Bone tears it up and kept my adrenaline pumpin!
7)Rep Yo City (featuring E-40, Petey Pablo, Bun B, & 8-Ball) - (11/10) - If those rappers are all on the same track, you know its gonna be a hot song. Everyone doesn't dissapoint. Everything is just perfect. The Beat. The Chorus. The Versus. Hot S**t! Rep Yo City!
8)Push That N***a, Push That H*e - (10/10) - This track has a very dark beat which is good for getting pumped up. This is Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz first track on the album with no guests. I didn't have as high expectations, but as soon as you hear the first ten seconds, you're stuck. This is a very crunk joint.
9)Keep Yo Chillin Out The Street (featuring Big Gipp) - (5/10)- Half skit half song. Nothin special at all.
10)Diamonds (featuring Bun B & MJG) - (10/10) - A lot of people don't like this song because of the relaxed beat. I love it. The hook blends in with the beat. Bun B raps on a verse for his second track from the album and doesn't dissapoint. Honestly, MJG rapped above my standards for him. Great Track that you can sing a long to.
11)Weedman (skit) - (n/a) - A funny intro to the next joint, The Weedman. Not too great.
12)The Weedman - (5/10) - Sort of funny but its off tempo with the rest of the songs before it and following. It should have been taken out.
13)Nothin On (featuring Oobie, Chyna Whyte, & Bo Hagon) - (8/10) - This song is great except for one thing. Oobie. Her high toned voice just doesn't seem right with Lil Jon on any of their collaboration tracks. Chyna Whyte and Bo Hagon both spit great verses along side Oobie's singing.
14)Luke Talkin S**t - (n/a) - Boring.
15)Ooh Na Na Naa Naa (featuring Oobie & Devin "the Dude") - (7/10) - Once again, Oobie sings the chorus on another track. I don't like this one too much.
16)Nothins Free (featuring Oobie) - (7/10) - I don't know what Lil Jon was thinking putting Oobie on more than two tracks on his album. Also, why did he put this song on Kings of Crunk if it is already on Put Yo Hood Up? If he was gonna do that then he should have picked a better track from Put Yo Hood Up like Bia Bia or Move B***h.
17)Play No Games (featuring Fat Joe, Trick Daddy, & Oobie) - (11/10) - Most everybody's heard this track as well. I love the beat because its different and gives you a good feeling. The chorus is great to sing along to and Oobie's singing actually is a pro on the hook. Fat Joe and Trick Daddy don't dissapoint and like some others on this album, I can listen to it over and over and over...
18)Pitbull's Cuban Rideout (featuring Pitbull) - (7/10) - A great song with Pitbull rapping the whole time. The only problem is that it's very short. Too $hort ;). It's only 1:37 long. Thats the only problem.
19)Get Low (featuring Ying Yang Twins) - (12/10) - Everyone's heard this song. Put simply...it never gets old. The beat is great and is the perfect dance song.
20)T.I.P. (featuring T.I.) (skit)- (n/a) - Boring. I'm a huge T.I. fan and wonder why he is not rapping on a song. Who knows?
21)BME Click (featuring the BME Allstars) - (10/10) Perfect way to end the album. I can't even cout how many rappers are on this track. It's almost 7 minutes long and is straight crunk the whole time
In conclusion, there are a lot of memorable songs and some mediocre. Among the memorable are Throw It Up, I Don't Give A F**k, Rep Yo City, Push That N***a, Push That H*e, Diamonds, Play No Games, Get Low, & BME Click. The dumb/mediocre songs include The Weedman, Oh Na Na Naa Naa, & Nothins Free. All in all, this is a classic Lil Jon Album.
My Top 10: (Not in order)
1)Throw It Up
2)Play No Games
3)Get Low
4)Rep Yo City
5)I Don't Give A F**k
6)Push That N***a, Push That H*e
7)Diamonds
8)BME Click
9)Knockin Heads Off
10)B***h
