Free Music Notes for Lilith Fair: A Celebration of Women in MusicFree Music Review: A capturing Collection.. Hit: 5 Stars
The CD was first not easy accesable, because I hadn't heard of the songs, and most of the artists, but once I sat down and listened, it was absolutely intralling. After taking a year of school french, I didn't understand any of the French track " Sur Tes Pas" but still enjoy listening to the un-translated wonder. The cardigans sing the only song that I've liked by them on the CD, and Abra Moores "four leaf clover" has poppy girl brilliance. September 67 sounds beautiful, and I can't really pull myself from the first cd to listen to the next. Lisa Loeb always has good songs, and Dayna Manning is promising, with a Jewel-esque voice. Thank goodness for girl rawk, and I recomend everyone who gave bad revieus to this cd to listen again, with their ears and not their critisism.
Free Music Review: An Excellent Performance by all of the Lilith Fair Women! Hit: 5 Stars
I thought this CD really gave a lot of hope to young women all over the world. Not only does this celebration show great artists like Sarah Maclachan, Paula Cole, and Lisa Loeb, but it also introduces us to new artists that are just as good as anyone else. That's why I think that this CD is one of the best you can get. Some of the songs have helped me to understand my life a lot better. And this year, Sarah Maclachan has invited new and equally wonderful talent to join the show. These include Erykah Badu, Missy Elliot, and many more. Lilith Fair is really a celebration of women who deserve to speak their mind. The women are from all different cultures that come together to show the world that women are equal with men. And this CD really portrays that.
Free Music Review: WITHOUT THOSE INDIGOS WHERE WOULD I BE? Hit: 5 Stars
The day this collection came out I ran up to Border's to check it out. I stood in the center of the store with the headphones on and skipped immediately to Water is Wide. It was so gorgeous I cried on the spot. That was 5 years ago and I haven't been able to listen to that song yet without a chill going up my spine. Another few notables: Hold Me Jordan (Tara Mclean), Eternal Flame (Susanna Hoffs), Trouble (Shawn Colvin)...and a great version of Going Back to Harlan (Emmylou Harris). I had to give this cd 5 stars based on the fact the in contains one of the best songs I've ever heard...BUY IT!!!

Free Music Review: A Great Musical Experiance Hit: 5 Stars
When I first bought this album, I only listened to it once and put it away because I did not know most of the songs but after I did listen to it a couple of times, I fell in love with it! It is really great! I personally like the second CD better with songs from like, Emmylou Harris's "Going back to Harlan",Dar Williams's "What do you Hear in these Sounds?", Tracy Bonham's"The One" and many more! I totally recomend this album to anyone who enjoys music!
