Free Music Notes for Lilo & StitchFree Music Review: No More Orchestral Disney Soundtracks Hit: 5 Stars
LILO&STITCH offers great music to your ears. It varies from the true heart of Hawaii, back to the oldies and recent releases. Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride and He Mele No Lilo sings through wonderful rhythms and rhymes of the islands way out there, which their native music is fabulous, as shown in these tunes. Can't Help Falling In Love by the A*Teens in their more recent album, is too much bubbleicious pop for me. I can't take in that much wooing and waaing and poppy pop pop. I really wasn't in favor for Elvis tunes, his oldies aren't that great in my perspective. I really have never liked his music anyway. But for a change of music, its nice to listen to every once&a while. Wynonna's Burnin' Love is a hunka-hunk of drum & guitar country which gets your feet up for a minute and puts them back down on the floor after a few seconds. The Score part of the soundtrack is a nice relaxing orchestra, but some get intense toward the middle. But nice to listen to. Look forward to getting this album cuz it should be in everyone's stack of records.
Free Music Review: Superb, without reservation the best music... except: Hit: 5 Stars
I will always cherish the memory of seeing this movie, both times. My girlfriend & I laughed, awwed, rooted & cheered. We drove home quoting lines & imitating Stitch's voice. We love LOVED adored the title sequence music & the "Hawaiian rollercoaster" scenes & music. Yet again, in this movie, Disney has made a magnificent story visually appealing & tremendously entertaining, something for everyone to enjoy for years to come. UNFORTUNATELY: Disney, as usual, has missed the target in the release of the album. I understand the space limitations inherent to CDs, I understand that economically it's wiser to market the CD as a combination Soundtrack & Score. There aren't any songs I'd remove from the disc; I'd just issue independent discs for soundtrack & score, thereby enabling the lovely "Aloha 'oe" to be included. All in all, a minor gripe. Buy this album. Buy this movie. Buy a theatre so you can see this movie as big as possible. Most importantly; see this movie with someone you love.
Free Music Review: All day, every day... Hit: 5 Stars
I literally listened to this CD all day long for an average of 3 days a week (some weeks not at all, sometimes the entire week) for 5 months. I was a Walt Disney World College Program Merchandise Hostess in Adventureland (Hi Pirates!), and in Island Supply, they loop this to play in the store. I was working 6-8 hour days in this side of Adventureland for about half of my time in Orlando (the other half was in the Pirates of the Caribbean side and on Main Street USA). In my opinion, this is the best soundtrack you will hear in the park for listening to over and over again. There were days when I got sick of whatever calypso stuff they were playing in the Pirates stores (suprisingly, they don't play Yo Ho! all day...), and there were days that I got sick of hearing the parade soundtrack, but I don't actually remember getting sick of listening to this soundtrack.
Free Music Review: Something For Everyone Hit: 5 Stars
This Soundtrack has a pleasing variety of songs. The big attraction is likely to be the popular Elvis Presley tunes. But other tracks feature a Hawaiian children's choir that can sing with some beautiful harmonies, A-Teens singing a pop version of the well-known song "Can't Help Falling In Love With You," and country singer Wynonna performing the song titled "Burning Love." The CD concludes with three tracks of dynamic instrumentals, and all together it's a cute collection of music.I figure this soundtrack, and maybe the movie will probably be a hit with Elvis fans. As it has a few entertaining surprises along that line. I'm not a die-hard Elvis fan, but really loved the CD from begining to end. I think it's recommendable because this soundtrack is one that can be enjoyed by all. For kids and adults alike and even if you've seen the movie or not.
Free Music Review: You Look like an Elvis Fan Hit: 5 Stars
The movie is wonderful and is embellished by an even greater soundtrack! In the film, Lilo is a young, hip-swaying Elvis fan so naturally many of the King's songs are found among the track listing including; "Hound Dog", "Stuck on You", "Suspicious Minds", "Heartbreak Hotel" and "Devil in Disguise" while his hit "Can't Help Falling in Love" is sung by Swedish born pop group A Teens, and "Burning Love" by Wynonna. Little known fact, Lilo & Stitch features more Elvis Presley songs than any of Presley's own films.Being set in Hawaii, Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu & the Kamehameha Schools Children's Chorus serenade to two original songs, "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" and "He Mele No Lilo". Both will fill you with the Aloha spirit and the urge to shake your hips. Highly recommended CD, great to sing and dance to.
