I've seen the movie three times and just bought the soundtrack. I'm tired of depressing movies and music. This one is so uplifting and joyous. I like the musical variety. Of course, Elvis is from my era, and a classic -- the covers by different artists were a nice touch. But my favorites are the songs by the Children's Chorus. How wonderful! I've been playing this CD in the morning when I do my exercise warm-up. (And yes, doing a few Hawaiian moves, too.)
Also my 3-year old granddaughter enjoyed this. Songs for all ages!

I like this album sooo much. I like oldies music but I also like the Hawaiian music and the A*Teens were also great. Wynonna Judd was really great singing "Burning Love" and they also took some original Elvis songs like: Stuck on You, Suspicious Minds, Heartbreak Hotel and Devil in Disguise. A lot of credit also goes to the Kamehameha Childrens School and Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu. This soundtrack is great not only for kids but also for adults mostlyu because of the Elvis songs. I love this CD. I play the music while driving in the van and my 3 year old and 1 year old love to sing and carseat dance through the whole thing (well, all but 10, 11, and 12). The CD could have done without the instrumental scores. My kids are dancing to and singing Elvis songs all the time now. We especially love to listen to "He Mele No Lilo" whenever we are mellow or feeling down. It is a great pick-me-upper. Buy this CD you will not be disappointed (unless you don't like Elvis).Free Music Review: There is also a limited edition of this CD

By the way, there is another RARE and valuable version of this CD that was sold only through the Disney Stores, numbered and limited to just 30,000 copies. The music is the same, but it has a big booklet, is numbered with the limited edition number on the back of the case art, and has a different cover with an awesome different cover art, a 3D lenticular picture of Lilo and Stitch dancing. I'm the kid who wrote the reveiw on 9-11 and this is just a second note_ I listened to the score, I know I didn't give it short shrift the 1st time, but I began to connect it with the movie and now I realized that it's good after all. My favorite score is the latter half of "I'm Lost." I think the 1st part of that track is from the beginning of the film. Well the score IS good, and one more thing I forgot to mention in my 1st reveiw - my friends all wanted to copy my CD!
