Free Music Notes for Lilo & StitchFree Music Review: This is a must own! Hit: 4 StarsThe reason I'm giving this cd 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is becuase I can't understand a part of Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride. And all of He Mele No Lilo! Both songs are performed by Mark Keali^i Ho'omaulu and Kamehameha Schools Children's Chrous. The tracks are (in case you missed them) 1. Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride 2. Stuck on You 3. Burning Love 4. Suspicious Minds 5. Heartbreak Hotel 6. Devil in Disguise 7. He Mele No Lilo! 8. Hound Dog 9. Can't Help Falling in Love 10. Sitch to the the Rescue 11. You Can Never Belong 12. I'm Lost Most of the songs expect for tracks 1, 3, 7, 9 are performed by Elvis Presley. Burning love is performed by Wyonna and Can't Help Falling in Love is performed by A*teens. If you have seen in the theatres and loved the movie, buy on video and dvd. Or if you didn't see it in the theatres, rent it on video and dvd. And also buy this soundtrack. Tracks 10-12 are music scores. The songs/music tracks were producted by either Alan Silvestri and David Bifano, Dann Huff and Wynonna, or Mark Hammond. The only songs that are not producted by the above people are the Elvis Presley songs. I shall also mention that on a couple of the Elvis Presley songs, you will hear Lilo & Stitch. My thoughts on Lilo & Stitch. First I have to say that if you were disappointed to find Aloha Oe was not on this soundtrack, then I am happy to say, that it is on Lilo & Stitch Island favorites. But if you big Elvis Presley, then I reccomend you to buy this instead of Lilo & Stitch Island favorites. Because on the 2nd one, only has one Elvis song performed by Elvis Presley. Plus if you watch the dvd of Lilo & Stitch, on yong voices of Hawaii, you will see about 40 kids singing both Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride and He Mele No Lilo! I have not currently listened or own Lilo & Stitch Island favorites. But if you are not an Elvis Presley fan, you may just like to hear Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride or He Mele No Lilo! and the scores. But the musical scores run from apporimatly 3 to 5 mintues. That counts all three musical scores.
Free Music Review: Best CD I have! (the sequel to my previous review) Hit: 5 StarsI'm the kid who wrote the reveiw on 9-11 and this is just a second note_ I listened to the score, I know I didn't give it short shrift the 1st time, but I began to connect it with the movie and now I realized that it's good after all. My favorite score is the latter half of "I'm Lost." I think the 1st part of that track is from the beginning of the film. Well the score IS good, and one more thing I forgot to mention in my 1st reveiw - my friends all wanted to copy my CD!
Free Music Review: Coasting to the top Hit: 5 StarsThis is a wonderful CD not only for children but for their parents too! It is a wonderful collection of music to be enjoyed by the whole family!
Free Music Review: Best CD I have! Hit: 5 StarsThis is the soundtrack to one of the best movies I've EVER seen! I personally liked "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" and "Burning Love" best, but "He Mele No Lilo" was beautiful and the Elvis songs are great! I had never really HEARD Elvis before but I love his songs and hope to get some more of his albums. As for the A-Teens, I couldn't sit through their song (I'm an Anti-Pop-ist). The score I didn't really care about, but who needs it after that other great music? (For good score check out Disney's Dinosaur) Well, the only thing I was disappointed about is that Nani (Tia Carrere) singing "Aloha Oe" wasn't on there. Two more things, A. I got this 4 days before the movie came out (I saw it the first day and 2 times thereafter) and loved it & B. The soundtrack is a really good addition to a REALLY great movie!!
Free Music Review: Great for the younger kids! Hit: 5 StarsMy 7-year-old rates this movie and the score to it as a 10. Since she found the soundtrack on her own searching through Disney.com she plays it 24/7 on her computer. She learned most of the words to "He Mele No Lilo" on her own...and in fact I learned it through osmosis mindlessly listening to her play it over and over. So I bought her the CD and was disappointed to not find the hawaiian lyrics written on the inside sleeve. We'd like to get the words right as she dances all over the house singing to it. Very happy, upbeat, melodic song. So is Hawaiian roller coaster ride. This movie also introduced Elvis music to my daughter which is great. She likes it too. If you got a kid who loves to dance & sing, this is a CD/DVD to add to your collection in my humble opinion.
