Free Music Review: Bizkit to the max
Hit: 5 Stars

What's up with all you people posting negative reviews about Limp Bizkit? Only a person without a life would waste their time writing a review about a band that they don't like just so they can make fun of them. The only people that don't like Limp Bizkit are people that wear tight Led Zeppelin shirts, tight jeans and grow their hair halfway down their back. If you don't like Limp Bizkit but you don't dress the way I mentioned, your probably a poser who only listens to pop music from this year.

Anyway I think I should start talking about the album. Limp Bizkit's greatest hits album features all the great singles, like Nookie, Break Stuff, Rollin', and Faith. It also features serious songs, like Take a Look Around and Boiler for the people that don't like the potty mouth stuff. The album could have had more Three Dolla Bill Y'all songs because that's the album that made them stars in the first place. Other than that it is a great album to listen to at parties.

Free Music Review: Greatest Hits? Yours are someone else's?
Hit: 1 Stars

This CD is crap pure and simple. One reviewer claims, "Even if you are a hater at one time or another you were with your friends rockin' out to Nookie, everyone dug that song, it's a PoP song." You could not be more wrong! Many of us NEVER rocked to that song. We just laughed hysterically at how stupid and childish it was, just like we did with some of the other "hits" on this album. Just like some of us are laughing right now! He is right about one thing. Nookie is a pop song. It definitely is not metal.

Another reviewer claims, "Don't you people know not everything has to be all technical, dark, and serious? I guess not. Limp Bizkit's music is just fun." First of all, not everything most of us listen to is serious. Secondly, if you really think that a bunch of retards in their 30's, acting like overgrown children, pretending they are in their teens, lame white boys pretending to be black, acting like they are bad and tough, playing macho man music is fun, then so be it. Songs about being a bad mofo and acting phat and dope may be fun when you are a teenager, but when you grow up and join the rest of us in the real world, you would realize just how stupid and childish most of these songs are.

Another reviewer says, "Also more songs from 3 Dollar Bill Yall since theres still LB fans out their that dont even know that album exist." Now this is supposed to be a Greatest Hits album for DIEHARD fans of Limp Bizkit, yet some of them do not know about the very album that made them famous in the first place??? They are not diehard fans, they are poseurs! They are trendies who only listen to Limp Bizkit because the "cool" people do! Start thinking for yourselves. I do agree that some people hate LB and hate this Greatest Hits album for the wrong reasons, but some of you "diehard" fans also like it for the wrong reasons as well.

Why do I hate this album? Because it is pointless! These songs are pointless! These guys try to show in their music they are tough guys that you should either be afraid of or look up to. It is not cool and fun. It is pathetic and most of us are not impressed! This is stereotypical, materialistic, shallow, self-centered, egotistical, self-serving, and most of all SUPERFICIAL nonsense. With Limp Bizkit, it is all about the image and nothing to do with the music. The songs on this album prove that.

Should I even get into the sheer stupidity of putting COVER SONGS on your Greatest Hits album? A greatest hits album is exactly that. It is an album of YOUR greatest hits, NOT someone else's! This also proves what crap this album is. If Limp Bizkit do not have enough of their OWN hits (which they obviously do not) then they have absolutely no business at all putting out a greatest hits album in the first place!

Free Music Review: Good Stuff
Hit: 5 Stars

So many negative reviews on here. People taking the time out to write comments about an album they havent heard, and probably will never listen to. This album is either loved or hated. The album includes all their radio hits and new releases done while Wes Borland was out of the band.

If you were alive in between 1999-2001 you should know that Limp Bizkit were one of the biggest, if the THE biggest band on the planet. Limp Bizkit put some killer shows on back in their time, and regardless, still can. 2 albums numbering 1 in the billboard chart. Reading the reviews, might trick you into believing that Limp Bizkit arent a sucess. But im pretty sure if you take a look at any of the members bank balance, that picture might change. And the funny thing is, you. Yes, You! probably liked them. All these people taking the time out to write smack about them are probably the same people who were buying red new era baseball caps and wearing them backwards. If you werent, your probably some anti-mainstream trend follower that says anyone who has a video on MTV has sold out. Another things thats funny is the fact that these hate comments that people write about LB, is what keeps the band alive.

Fact of the matter is, that Limp Bizkit have never taken themselves seriously, so why should you. Songs like Break Stuff and Nookie give a pissed of message, but are flat out, fun songs. If you can't listen to Limp Bizkit and take it on the cheek, your a f*cking tight a**.

Just before I sum up, id like to comment on some previous posts. Marilyn Manson's comment about Limp Bizkit, was done at a time when Manson found his fans listening to Limp Bizkit CD's more than his. Calling Limp Bizkit the type of people who would beat you up in high school is a joke and a half. Aye, because Wes Borland, yeah, he's a right knucklehead...

Id like to laugh at every person that calls themself a hater and then goes onto say something like 'But Wes Borland is good though...''. How would you know if you were a hater? Apart from the fact that Limp Bizkit, minus Fred Durst and DJ Lethal are extraordinary musicians, just because Wes Borland painted his face and stood out more, did that really make him better? The Answer....No.

If you wanna have a house party and have some rocking tunes in the background, you want to see a band who didnt care what genre they were in, what colour their clothes were, you want to re-live the days when wearing a red-cap backwards was cool and a song wasn't good unless it had 'F*ck' in it more than 10 times. Buy this CD.

If you dont own it, or don't want to...dont review it

Free Music Review: All the Bizkit you could ever want and more
Hit: 4 Stars

The public sure is fickle. One minute, you're a star, selling millions of albums and having your videos shown on MTV every five minutes. And then in a flash, it's all gone, you're through. Just ask Vanilla Ice, or more recently, Limp Bizkit. Just five short years ago, Fred Durst and company was the most popular band in the world, and now they're a joke. Writing a positive review for Limp Bizkit's "Greatest Hitz," (2005) I have a sense of what it must have felt like to have been Jonnie Cochran, F. Lee Bailey, and Robert Shapiro when they had to defend O.J. Simpson.

It's very understandable why people hate Limp Bizkit. The lists of offensives committed by the band are long. Marilyn Manson summed it up best and hit the nail on the head when he said ""Limp Bizkit is a band made up of illiterate apes that beat your ass in high school for being a 'fag' now sell you tuneless testosterone anthems of misogyny and pretend to be outsiders..."

I find the whole Nu-Metal phenomenon of the late 90s-early 00s to be intriguing. The music sounded like the inside of a meat-grinder; ninety-percent of it sounded the same, it was pure testosterone without any real sense of beauty or melody. So why was "Nu-Metal" so popular? What accounts for the appeal of Limp Bizkit? Is the (brief) success of Limp Bizkit and the Nu-Metal genre proof the public will buy whatever is rammed down its throat? Or did the success of Limp Bizkit and the Nu-Metal genre serve as a testament to the phenomenon of "the angry white man?" Or both?

Even though trends come and go, the downfall of the Bizkit is really due to the fact that they became overexposed and that their music became increasingly worse with each album.

Still, I've always had a soft-spot for Limp Bizkit. I don't know why exactly. Maybe it has to do with the fact that they were what all the kids listened to back in the early `00s when I went off to school. When I look back at Fred Durst and company, I will forever reflect on my misspent youth. I guess for a lot of people, now in their mid-to-late 20s, this new "Greatest Hitz" will take the listener back to an innocent, youthful time in their lives.

As spotty as Limp Bizkit's catalogue was, and as stupid and horrible as Fred is, they did have some good songs. It was not great music, by any means, but it was good, frat-boy rock. One can still rock out to "Nookie" and "Breakstuff," as dumb as those songs are. Limp Bizkit has a talented guitar player in Wes Borland, who churned out some good, infectious, catchy riffs. While this music hasn't really stood-up well and sounds dated already, "Greatest Hitz" is a good collection that offers the band and the genre's best work. If you are now, like me, a late twenty-something and want to revisit the late 90s, "Greatest Hitz" will be all you could ever want, and more.

Free Music Review: More like the greatest flopz
Hit: 1 Stars

Limp Bizkit and the whole nu metal scene was the worst thing to ever happen to music since disco (at least that wasn't as bad as this), This greatest hitz sucks and the band sucks too.

Thank god that this band is history, they just like 50 cent today, untalented, stupid and pathetic.

Thank You kurt for ruining music with this.
