Free Music Notes for The Unquestionable Truth, Pt. 1Free Music Review: Tell these one star viewers to SHUT UP Hit: 4 StarsIf you hate the music so much then do NOT write a review on this stuff. Avoid it, and don't ever speak of it again if you hate it so much.
If we were to totally block out all of Limp Bizkit's previous works (including Chocolate Starfish, Significant Other, Results May Vary, etc.), you can say that this band actually has musical talent. You can tell the lead singer is a bit shaky with this new material, but at least he's trying his best to make music.
This is not slop passed over by some infamous band, but rather a new beginning for those who just want to rock and have fun making music. This stuff is actually good, and I'm surprised that it is not receiving substantial airplay.
Free Music Review: The Unquestionable Truth????? This CD SUCKS Hit: 1 StarsI didnt think it could get any worse after Limp Bizkits last three albums but apparently it does. At this point BIZ could release an entire studio recording of Fred Durst and crew popping zitz off of there ------ and it would probably go platinum. and you know that no matter how bad a Limp Bizkit album is there will always be somebody giving it 5ive starz. Lyrically Fred Durst has reached an all time low just look at the song titles every single one of them looks alike and this whole screw the world everything is wrong with the world screw everybody crap is so incredibly inane that my ears literaly began to bleed while I was listening to this pile of DOG ----- (note to Fred Durst nobody cares anymore about your whiny lyrics and your ego) as an aspiring writer I find these lyrics to be so bad that they are offensivethis gut could not write a good lyric to save his life. For example The song "The Propaganda" where Durst eloquently spits the line "Thinking that life is just a bowl of cherries a bunch of faries screaming to be scary" WHAT????? Now I have heard some pretty bad lyrics in my day but this is nothing more than a lame egomaniac in his dying hour trying to make a comeback and sounding nothing short of clinicly retarded. I mean I have heard Scizophrenic word salad that was more coherent than this. Its no wonder that their were 7 copies of this wack piece of trash in the bargain bin at the record store. Musicly it only gets worse if you take the absolute worst of radio friendly college rock Nu metal and roll it into a ball you would pretty much have the turd that is Limp Bizkits music. As a part time DJ I also find Limp Bizkits poor attempts at "Hiphop" to not only be laughable but also downright awful. this is a band that should have stopped making albums years ago you look at their whiny nonsense lyrics -ss Clown lead singer and just kind of go whats your point??????
Free Music Review: Good Comeback Hit: 4 StarsIt seemed that after 2003's "Results May Vary", they couldn't get any worse. Coming back from a down record is 2005's "The Unquestionable Truth - Pt 1", which stunned me when I heard it first. The songs aren't like their previous ones, these are different. More refined, and heavier than ever.
You can tell this album is a change because they are actually CREATING music themselves. I give it four stars because it overall sounds like they are experimenting with this stuff. Some of the riffs are not in tune or something, but I can tell you right now that this stuff is a notch above anything they've ever done in the past.
I can't wait for Pt. 2...
Free Music Review: The Limp Bizkit gets hard Hit: 4 Stars To start off, alot of people are downing LB as usual. They say this album is terrible, and so is Limp. They say they have bought every album and hate every one of them. Limp Bizkit must be doing something right if the people who hate them are buying everyone of their albums. With that said, Let's review TUTP1.
This is the heaviest that Limp Bizkit has ever been since TDBY . The return of Wes Borland might just save this band. Every song except "the key" is very well written. You will know Borland is back just by listening to it and Fred's lyrics seem to be getting somewhat better. Many people are criticizing the band for the heavy influence of RATM. Am I the only one who thinks there need to be more bands like Rage? I applaud Limp for that. Limp Bizkit is at their best when they are angry and this album is very angry.
The pros of this album are very strong. The First is that WES IS BACK! Borland's style allows Bizkit to get that attacking vibe to it. This is not the same band that wrote "Results". Fred's lyrics prove that he has come down to earth and matured with his delivery of his lyrics. Many will say that he is copying Zack from Rage, would you have preferred Vanilla Ice? You make that choice. One of Limp's strengths is that you can tell their influence is on their albums: TDBY: identitical to Snot, Helmet. SO: more of a faith no more style, it does not sound too much like FNM, but it has that feel. CSF and RMV: Record Executives and MTV. CSF sounded like they were not trying or did not care and RMV was accoustic and boring. TUTP1: Rage and a little Pantera.
The only cons of the album are obviously the time of the record (29 min). The Key is only a one minute long, I think that Fred should have made the key into a real song, because thats the best rapping I have ever heard from him. I think that if Limp wrote rap songs as angry as that, people would love or at least enjoy their "rap" side. I still think Limp Bizkit has not found a way to perfectly blend Borland's guitar attack with Lethal's sampling/scratching. They really dont use Lethal at all on this album. Some people enjoy that, while others do not.
I liked the TDBY and SO, yet I felt very dissapointed with CSF and RVM. with TUTP1, I feel better about Limp's dirction. I have not enjoyed a Limp Album so much since "Significant Other". You may still hate Limp after this album, but you might at least have a differint (better) view of the band . This might be a new chapter for Limp Bizkit. If they build on this new style and attitude, their music should be very exciting in the future. They may even win back many fans who dumped them years ago. YOU HAVE TO LET THE ALBUM GROW ON YOU! You probably will not like it at first, but if you listen to it and give it a fair chance then you might learn to accept the truth.
Free Music Review: WTF?? Hit: 1 StarsMan, do you call this music? This horrible. Fred can't think of anything to write about so he just throws together a whole bunch of things so the songs don't make sense and so they seem "cryptic". "Hey man that song doesn't really make sense Fred" "hey, it is all in the interpretation". Tell me this Fred, why is cherry pie randomly thrown into one of your songs? Is it symbolic of my angst? Also I have noticed you use "fairies" sooo much. Please guys don't buy this, it is horrible, they couldn't even come up with enough material for a full CD and yet they are selling it for the same price as a full CD. The only thing good about this is Wes, and I have something for him, WES, please, just run away from this, go work with Rob Zombie like you said you were going to. You have more talent than this.
