Free Music Review: Linda At Her Best!
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD demonstrates the amazing vocal ability Linda Eder encompasses. Her amazing range, rich tone color, consistent vibrato, and her ability to BELT and sustain these incredibly high notes makes her one of the greatest vocalists of all time. Her renditions of "I Am What I Am" and "Don't Rain On My Parade" will give you chills. Even though "The Impossible Dream" and "What Kind Of Fool Am I?" are just about 2 minutes in length, she pulls out all the stops on these selections...just about making you beg for more! Along with Linda'a voice, incredible orchestrations, great songs, and a solid recording, this CD demonstrates Linda at her BEST.

Free Music Review: A stellar success
Hit: 5 Stars

Friends of mine who were unfamiliar with Linda Eder- not to mention hardly fans of Broadway music- were recently treated to hearing these songs. Time and time again, I am told from these newborn fans what I have known for years: THIS voice is one that MUST be heard. The total, complete package. Beautiful tone and resonance, interpretation and styling. Incredible almost immeasurably vocal power and ability. This is a wonderful piece of work. Sadly, there is so much to love about this lady's talent, there is always a wanting for more songs on her releases. But at 13 songs, with most of them being originals or originally recorded, I think she has satisfied her fans quite well.

Free Music Review: Broadway - Linda's way!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

No offense to some of the reviewers, but it's hard for me to compare Linda Eder to any other singer, including Barbra. As this new CD so aptly demonstrates, Linda is right at home with these great songs from timeless Broadway classics, both old and new; she has her own distinctive style.

I have no clear cut favorites here (although some arrangements are a bit too overblown), but two of the songs were on previous albums - "Man of La Mancha" (It's Time) and "Gold"(the title track of her album from last year - and a gem).

To Linda's many fans (as well as detractors), please give this new CD your undivided attention - it's one of her best!!!

Free Music Review: Wow
Hit: 5 Stars

I love Linda so much she can do no wrong. While some of the songs aren't familiar to me, I appreciate her little comments before each song explaining what they mean to her. And boy when she opens that mouth you can feel the songs. She interprets
"male-centered" songs from her view and knocks the socks off of them. I did love her last CD even though it was off her usual path of broadway and cabaret tunes. But she is right back where she belongs on this CD. I highly recommend this CD for anyone who loves vocals - for anyone who loves good songs by a wonderful voice - and everyone else should buy it as well.
