I am a big Linda Eder fan, but actually was a little hesitant to buy this one because I didn't feel like I would care for the combination of her voice with a gospel choir. I love her voice alone and I enjoy a good gospel choir, but wasn't sure that the two could blend together. DO THEY My favorite piece on the CD is "Do You Hear What I Hear" which showcases both Ms. Eder and the choir. This is a favorite carol of mine and it really is beautiful on this CD. Thank you, Ms. Eder and the Broadway Gospel Choir for a great Christmas present!Free Music Review: KOST 103.5 LA Doesn't play her enough

I first heard Linda Eder on a local radio station here in Los Angeles. (KOST 103.5). Her version of Silent Night is so hauntingly beautiful it brings chills. But KOST has completely sold out and now they only play the same 20 songs over and over again, so I'm back to buying CDs.
I haven't bought a CD in years so that should give you an idea of how important this album is to a complete Christmas package. Linda Eder has the voice of an angel, a true opera star that brings an entire new scope to any song she sings.

Linda Eder's Christmas release is truly a contemporary Christmas classic. Listening to this is pure pleasure -- you can hear how much she loves this music. I firmly believe she is one of the greatest voices of this generation, and she performs both classics and new songs in lovely, innovative arrangements.She sings in true holiday spirit with the message of the season in the forefront. But the voice -- indescribably marvelous. She is a true artist.
You will not regret adding this to your holiday collection!

After hearing Linda sing on the Rosie O'Donnell show recently, I decided to buy her Christmas CD (it was mentioned during the interview that she had made one last year.) I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it and her voice. The title song, Christmas Stays the Same, is beautiful in both words and melody.The last song, The Bells of St. Paul, is also really soothing to listen to. If you are looking for something different to listen to this year, and want to hear a great singer, this one is for you.

LINDA EDER is simply one of the most GENUINELY Talented performers working today, I have been mesmerized by Linda since hearing her first album,I recently had the pleasure of seeing her LIVE on my birthday with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in which she performed 10 of the 13 songs from the album and just suffice it to say you have live singers and then you have LINDA EDER,truly in a class all her own! VERY Original and very moving renditions of our favorite Christmas Carols are found on this MUST HAVE CD!!!
