Having been a fan of Linda Eder since 1997 with her album IT'S TIME, and then buying all of her cd's since that time....I waited patiently for this new release! Today was the day and WHAT A CD IT IS!!! Her new twist on some pop classics are done with her signature emotional depth and heart....including HERE COMES THE SUN and DRIFT AWAY and her awesome rendition of SON OF A PREACHER MAN! Her new songs either written by her husband and Jack Murphy or Linda helping co-write are amazing as well and will stand the test of time! If you want to hear wonderful music that will take you to another world, ESCAPE INTO THE WORLD OF LINDA EDER!!! Way to go Linda! I hope to meet you someday! Take care! HAPPY LISTENING FANS! One more note is how moving it is to read the liner notes in the album that reflect on how the lyrics mean something different since 9/11/01 and behind the cd in the case there is a poem written by Linda herself called "September 11th"! We all need to use this tragedy as a way to bring us all together! Thank you Linda for helping that cause through your heart and your voice! You are better than GOLD....you are PLATINUM!
