Free Music Notes for It's No Secret AnymoreFree Music Review: A Wonderful Follow Up To It's Time Hit: 5 Stars
Linda Eder's beautiful voice is well suited to the songs of Frank Wildhorn, the composer and now her husband. Seven months pregnant, she turns in an impressive collection of songs, ranging from soon to be Broadway showtunes, to light jazz. Overall, the album has a very jazzy feel to it. There are the big showstopping numbers, but there are many many intimate moments causing one to reach for the repeat button over and over again. Often compared to Barbra Streisand or Judy Garland, Linda Eder is truly a vocalist of the highest degree. Her instrument is a much clearer and stronger presence than either Barbra or Judy could ever be, and delivers time after time after time to deliver mood, substance, and style. If you have purchased Ms. Eder's albums before, you will not be disappointed in this newest addition. Definitely one not to be missed!!!
Free Music Review: Eder's best cd yet! Hit: 5 Stars
Linda Eder cd "It's No Secret Anymore" is simply wonderful. A big fan of Eder, that has all her cd's! This has to be the best yet. Eder has the most amazing voice. No one can sing like her on the planet. Her voice is just like wine, it just keeps getting better with each cd. Id have to say that "Never Dance" is awesome! The beat and her voice is amazing. My favorite song has to be "Why Do People Fall In Love" is a song that people will remember way after the year is over. The lyrics of the song are simply breathtaking, and it makes me tear everytime. Her voice and the lyrics in each song carry you off to another place. To hear her is to hear what I think Frank Wildhorn once said, is to hear an angle sing. Congrads to Linda Eder on her new born son Jake and for another wnderful cd. I can not wait to see Havana..!
Free Music Review: Linda Eder rocks! Hit: 5 Stars
I own this c.d., and it is what got me introduced to Linda Eder. She has the most amazing voice I have ever heard (male or female). "Vienna" is such an awesome song, and I can't believe how effortlessly she sings those high notes. I recently gained a high appreciation for the title track and "This Time Around." I also had the opportunity to see Linda in concert in Las Vegas. It was, without a doubt, the best concert I have ever been to. My good friend had the chance of meeting her, and said she was nothing but nice. "Man of La Mancha" is seriously my favorite of her's. It is so unblievable how big her range is. Hearing that and "Vienna" live was a dream come true. Especially the way she holds notes out for days. She never ceases to amaze me, and I can't wait to see her live again.
Free Music Review: "Fantabulous! " - Linda's voice soars and more. Hit: 5 Stars
Words cannot due justice to the incredible sounds of Linda's singing - again! Nor the fantastic music whether it's the band, the orchestra or just the piano. Linda's singing soars to new highs, as does everything about this CD! Linda "reminds me of no other." This is singing with style, beauty and clarity. A fan of Linda's since performing a private venue in 1989. This recording showcases why! Hoping for many more recordings to expand with additional music and lyric writers. Hey, hubbie Frank and friend Jack, are great. Just hope to see other works with Linda's magical voice. For starters, 3 fantasy albums:Standard-classics, a classic Broadway recording and one of just jazz. Wow! Thanks for the musical love affair Linda!
Free Music Review: Its No Secret Anymore Hit: 5 Stars
I discovered this artist a few years back and have continued to be impressed by her massive talent as I have added each new CD to my collection. She is indeed a singers, singer. We have not had a talent like Linda Eder in our mist for many years. "Linda's style is classic, harkening back to an era when the music scene was populated by talents like Ella Fitzgerald and Judy Garland." Her voice is electrifying, she can whisper a lyric, conspiratorially drawing you in. She can hit a pure tone and hold it forever. She can do it all. It is not often I am so impressed by an artist that I want to sit down and tell others about my experiece, but if you enjoy music and fine artistry you should own this work.
