Just saw Linda Eder in concert--simply amazing! Many of the songs on this album are in her show. I think she is one of the best singers working today and this album shows her incredible range. Vienna is a classic, to be listened to again and again.Free Music Review: Great Voice - bad songs

I like many others heard Linda Eder sing on Rosie. I immediately loved Vienna and also bought the album expecting more of the same type of songs as Vienna. Her voice is totally remarkable but the I just don't care for most songs on the album. It has to much of a jazz feel unlike vienna so I was disappointed. First off, let me say that Linda Eder is my favorite singer in the whole wide world. So, does that make me biased? I don't think so. With each album, you can see how she has grown as a vocalist. This CD offers a nice range of songs and arrangements that I think show off her abilities as a singer and a performer. My favorites include the title song, as well as "This Time Around" and "You Never Remind Me". I think this CD demonstrates the fact that Linda is ready to command and wide and diverse audience and that she does not need to appear with other folks to establish herself with the non-theatre crowd. She has performed occasionally with Michael Feinstein but now, for instance, this February she will appear at the Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra. I think that this CD shows she is expanding her musical repertoire and I couldn't recommend it more highly. She is no "poor man's Barbra Streisand" anymore. A nice blend of styles. I can't wait until Havana is complete. Even Now is a wonderful love song. Eder voice is a national treasure.
