I had the opportunity to listen to this album and I must say that not only was Linda's voice a pleasure to listen to but her song choice was also a gift. The album had a mix of songs I new well and others that I had not heard before and It became easy to listen to. I caught myself singing along by the second listening. I first heard of Linda Eder when I saw her in Jekyll and Hyde on Broadway. I loved her voice so much that I bought the cd after the show. Her new cd is a change from the usual broadway show tunes but her voice is still unbelievable! The songs are relaxing but fun to listen to. I love every single song on this cd. I love that Linda Eder named this "the other side of me". the title is a lesson for all of us, just because we were something doesn't mean each day we can't start fresh and new.
In addition to that the music is uplifting and makes me feel good when I hear it... there's not too much music I can say that about. great songs, don't miss it.
