This is an excellent CD. Linda Ronstadt has never sounded better, singing that is. She has a great voice, but she is a left-wing quack who spouts her mouth off about things she knows nothing about. If you can forgive her nutty liberal opinions, then I will highly recommend. Great CD.

One gets the sense that very deeply rooted is the new generation blending with the old, and taking story telling into song in this time and day is long needed. Ms. Ronstadt is sensational throughout the CD!! The mariachis which are featured adds to the authenticity of Mexican ballads & seranades.
