This CD is excellent. My daughter received it as a baby gift in 1998. Nine years later, she still listens to it every night. She says it helps her calm down to go to sleep. She has listened to it every night for 9 years and for countless naps along the way. And the best part is, none of us are sick of it yet! Many "lullaby CDs" are so syrupy and sappy that the adults can't stand them and the kids soon tire of them. Not so with this CD! I wasn't a huge Linda Ronstadt fan before we got this CD, but I have a lot of respect for the lady now!Free Music Review: Excellent...

I have bought several of these for shower presents because our family has gotten so much enjoyment out of this CD. All three of my children have gone to sleep to this as babies. We have also found ourself listening to it in the car long after our kids have fallen asleep. I read several of the 1-star reviews and at least one mentioned that this was not kids music...uuuh, I think that is the point. Its grownup music turned into lullabies. I own a bunch of Linda's records. IMHO, the best voice in the business, until Whitney (but I believe Whitney is done). Came across this album reading her Wikipedia bio. Sounded interesting, so I bought it. After the first day, my wife loves it, my 7 year old loves it, but the heck with them, I love it. This album is just beautiful music. I even like We Will Rock You
For me the real stunner is "In My Room". I can't believe the other reviewers barely mentioned it. It literally stopped me in my tracks. Just WOW. It is perfect.
If she does another album like this, I'm buying it.
