I own a bunch of Linda's records. IMHO, the best voice in the business, until Whitney (but I believe Whitney is done). Came across this album reading her Wikipedia bio. Sounded interesting, so I bought it. After the first day, my wife loves it, my 7 year old loves it, but the heck with them, I love it. This album is just beautiful music. I even like We Will Rock You
For me the real stunner is "In My Room". I can't believe the other reviewers barely mentioned it. It literally stopped me in my tracks. Just WOW. It is perfect.
If she does another album like this, I'm buying it.

The first time I heard this CD I listened to the entire album with a big lump in my throat. It is amazing that no one had used popular rock songs as lullabys for a complete CD before. There is a tenderness and warmth in this collection that is not found in most baby music. If you care for Linda Ronstadt at all these songs will move you beyond whatever you expected. I only wish she would now do another set in Spanish. Free Music Review: We STILL love this music

I bought this when my 10 year old was a baby. It is calm, soothing and more fun to rock a baby to than any other "lullaby" CD. My youngest (she's 8) still listens to it every night. I enjoy giving it as a baby gift for new "rockers" to enjoy!
