Free Music Notes for Go InsaneFree Music Review: A Touch Of Madness Hit: 5 StarsLindsey so often walks that fine line between genius and the outright bizarre but here he has succeeded in blending the two into a wonderful cacophony of sound. He has an excellent ear for the right tune, so evident on all the songs he arranged for Stevie Nicks, and this album proves his talents. The title song is a wonderful, haunting anthem while Slow Dancing steals you like a ghost through your heart. The only shame is waiting so long for a Lindsey album.
Free Music Review: Go Insane is genius at his best! Hit: 5 StarsLindsey Buckingham is a creative genius but with Go Insane, he shatters the boundaries set by other artists. The title track without a doubt is my favorite song by him ever!
Free Music Review: Cool! Hit: 4 StarsHe sort of sounds like Prince on this one. The coolest things about this album are the cover, the side B. record label which contains his head (cool to watch spinning on the turn-table), and the coolest thing: "Playing In The Rain" does not quite end on side One, and starts up again on side Two. Never in my life have I seen such a thing. Also cool, the album was recorded in his garage. Uncool: The songs seem sort of simple and lack any humor. But this is a small point because L.B. is truely a fantastic guitar player and he has a haunting voice. Much better without Fleetwood Mac.
Free Music Review: Good CD Hit: 4 StarsGo Insane has, in parts, a very synthetic sound to it. And there are parts that are very tense and parts that are wonderfully smooth. It's also very melodic. I like it.
